    Small and light
This bowl is great. I attach it to my Inogen. I always have it handy to you give my dog a drink. It works well for both akitas and dachshunds. I like that it holds up small and has held up well to daily use.

Great for long walks and great size, not too big!
this is perfect for my beagle! on walks now i bring my water bottle and this bowl closed up to fit on my belt loop and rolls up in a little band attached to it. other bowls i looked at were huge and held like 8 cups of water… i think that’s a bit overkill… if your dog wants more water, just fill the bowl again. it’s big enough and holds enough water for any individual drinking session lol my dog actually overheated last week on a long walk from the humidity, so it was my first time using this new bowl, and she wasnt afraid to drink from it, she drank and then i noticed she was really overheating so the bonus with this bowl was that to cool her down, i put more water in and i took her paws and feet and put each one in the bowl to wet them down with the cool water. this is convenient, fits on your belt loop, isnt overly big (it’s a walk, not a water bowl at home!), and was like a little cooling foot bath for my dog. great! only thing some people might find as an issue is that because its super foldable the material is not like you could pull it across jagged rocks, it more than likely will tear.. its durable but id say not meant for heavy duty rough terrain, but as long as you dont throw on jagged rocks, it should be fine. great price, overall highly recommend.

Small, light, easy to keep on your bag
Yeah, these aren’t great with liquids, but for something so tiny and portable, we live with it. They’re inexpensive enough that I bought several (after forgetting to shift it when I changed backpacks), and big enough so my skittish 75lb lab isn’t nervous about putting his face in there.

    Perfect, compact, convenient
Packs very small and lightweight. Easily clips to our leash. Works great for long dog walks. Our dogs have no issues drinking water out of it. I would purchase again, and it would make a great gift for a dog owner.

    Would buy again
Holds water and is super light weight. It kind of folds in on itself if you over fill it. Good for one dog to use at a time. It folds up and hardly takes up space and can clip on to the exterior of your bag when wet

    Not good for hikes
Dog context: 65# dog who’s not picky about what she drinks from. Primary use is in pack with 5-15 mile hikes. Not good for longer hikes if you’re carrying your water- the bowl volume requires a *lot* of water before there’s enough depth to drink, and of course, if your pup chooses to not drink much, you’re forced to waste a lot of water or just pack and carry a bunch of extra water to accommodate the bowl design. I have one of the ruffwear packable bowls, and I like the nite-ize material and packability much more, and it’s cheaper. If only they made a smaller.

    portable
It’s small and light enough to attach to the handle of the dog’s leash. Now whenever I take the dog out for a walk I have a dog bowl handy if I need it

Honestly this bowl, as it is, sucks for water. It has pleats and the water makes the bottom of the bowl spread out and you then need a lot of water to fill it and it sits funny. This is fine for my larger dogs but the 14 week old puppy has trouble because its so big and deep.So I taped around the entire bowl so that the pleats cannot expand, and I also fold the rim down so its not so tall and this makes it perfect for my needs. Now all the dogs, big and small, can drink out of it with ease and I can put less water in it and they can still drink easily. With how light and small this is its honestly way better than the much more expensive collapsible bowls I have. Another bonus is that if a leash gets dragged over the bowl the sides just fold down and the water has so far stayed put and we haven’t lost any. With any other type of bowl it would get tipped over and spilled. If this fabric bowl holds up for a couple years I’ll be happy and so far money well spent.

Purchased this for dogs to be able to drink whilst out and about but when full of water it kind of flopped like a jelly fish and needed well over a litre of water in it for the dogs to be able to drink from it. Very flimsy.

Good dog bowl for backpacking, super lite weight, folds up small. Seems to hold water decently, gets the job done at a fraction of the weight of a silicone collapsible bowl. Obviously the bowl isn’t ridged at all, but my dog doesn’t seem to mind lol.
