This works. My Westie may not think this is his favorite thing but doesn’t resist his daily teeth cleaning. I’ve tried dog teeth brushes and it was a struggle. This he accepts and smacks his lips afterward. A win!

Quality: A—Package and labeling indicates a high level of trustworthiness of the safety of the product, including manufacturing, licensing, and adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards; had this information (and the transparency thereof) been missing I would not have allowed my dog to ingest it. The disposable wipes themselves are large cotton finger pads with a gently abrasive blue dot pattern on one side. They don’t have much odor and are unflavored, with no mint added. The 50ct jar will last almost 2 months with recommended daily use.Effectiveness: B—While they’ll never be able to clean below the gumline as well as toothbrushes, dental wipes are a huge improvement over nothing. The mechanical scrubbing combo with the enzymatic properties will do a good enough job of maintaining oral/dental hygiene since my dog will simply not tolerate the use of a tool in his mouth. It’s also less messy and more convenient than having to use toothpaste. The pads are strong enough to maintain their structural integrity throughout their entire use, even with a little bit of pushback from Frank. His breath does seem fresher immediately after using, but also I really loathe mint-mouth smell and am basing it on the utter lack of that, more than it being a great improvement from how it was. Plaque reduction capabilities remain TBD, but I don’t doubt there will be some degree of improvement.Value: A—$6.99 for almost 2 months’ worth of dental care is worth it to me! These are one of the most inexpensive dental wipes I’ve found, without that horrible mintiness, and with an entire label’s worth of information to assuage my fear of accidentally poisoning my dog; I highly recommend them if you have a pet that won’t tolerate a toothbrush, they’re a great alternative.

I have both a large breed cat and a large (70-80lbs) dog. Based on the large dog, this is absolutely a 5 star choice. Based on my cat, this would be closer to a 4.The Product: The wipes come in a finger shaped pouch to allow you to easily brush. It is two sided, with one side being soft for gum wipes and the other side more abrasive for the teeth. I don’t know if I would recommend the mint flavour, but both my pets did not seem to mind the flavourless ones which was surprising since they are both picky. I personally found the pouch WAYYY too long, but you could always cut it in half and save the half for another day to make it smaller. I would definitely suggest cutting them for very small dogs and cats.Dog Review: For my dog, who hates toothbrushes, the doggy toothpaste, and despises even the finger brushes, this was amazing. Since she has a larger mouth (therefore larger teeth), using the wipes was very easy. I think this is actually better than those finger brushes, because you can actually feel what’s being brushed and feel the nasty plaque come off. Gross, but when I used it on the dog the wipe actually came back a little brown. It also was great for her breath, which usually stinks so bad due to her old age. It doesn’t change the smell to anything specific, but it did reduce the stink.Cat Review: These wipes are difficult to use when the teeth are way smaller, especially without cutting the wipes. I cannot comment on breath, since my cat is only a year old and does not have stinky breath normally. However, I still enjoyed wiping at any plaque that could build up, since cat dental problems are so huge later in their lives. This would be good for prevention of any issues.Keep in mind, this will not get rid of those dark brown or black tartar stains your pets teeth will have. This is best used as a prevention for tartar and for reducing (not eliminating) plaque. It is a good option for pets who refuse to have their teeth brushed using normal means, but does NOT replace a toothbrush. However, using this is better than not caring for their teeth at all. Overall, this was a great choice for my pets.

I use these wipes on my very temperamental senior cat. They’re a bit big for his mouth, so I’ve taken to cutting the in half length wise so that instead of completely enveloping my finger, it only covers the front side like a mask, with the rounded, seamed edges touching his teeth.So far this has done the trick. It has been keeping the plaque a little bit at bay for the most part, though there are some sections at the back that I still have to use a toothbrush to try to get. It does very well for his tongue, and he actually likes the feel of the pad on his tongue! Sometimes I just get an extra piece and he just licks at the surface of the pad. When it comes to bad breath, these wipes have done a remarkable job at lessening it. I dare say that because I got the unscented one, it’s less pronounced than if I had gotten the mint flavour, but the solution seems to be working on toning down his stank breath.

After having a previous dog who had dental issues because of a very small mouth and a resistance to brushing, when I got my new pup I made a commitment to keep her teeth clean always. While I have toothbrushes and finger brushes in the bathroom, sometimes I forget to use them. I like to keep these beside the couch so that when my pup is relaxing with me it is very easy to slip one on and just quickly clean her teeth. While I wouldn’t use this exclusively, I will use it as an adjunct to brushing her teeth with her finger brush or toothbrush. These are much more gentle to clean her gums, and they are very good for that. She tolerates it well, and that is the biggest hurdle. My previous dog simply would not allow me in her mouth, and, unfortunately, it led to a bad dental situation. She was older when I adopted her and was already very set in her ways. Starting this with a new pup will be very beneficial going forward.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Wow. I love it.⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Hey, this is pretty great.⭐⭐⭐ = Meh. It’s okay but I don’t love it. As a guy that should probably should be brushing his dogs teeth more and when I do I have normally used a kids toothbrush, I can say that this was by far a better option and I felt I was able to do a much better job of getting in there and wiping all the teeth.I always worried that I was banging the dogs mouth with the toothbrush so these wipes let me feel and know that I am getting to the correct area in the mouth without hurting the dogs mouth.The wipes are easy to use and after only a few uses my dogs are far more okay with me using them than they ever were with the toothbrush.I am sure each dog and use case is different but for me and my two dogs these have been great.

The dental wipes are a pleasant smelling disposable wipe.It fits on different finger sizes and has two different textures (one on each side).We have a Dachshund and his breed is prone to dental issues. He is impossible to brush his teeth normally. Dental chews, devices, brushes. Nothing works.These wipes were decent. Although he fussed, it was easier to get in his mouth to clean his teeth. The wipes did get stuff off his teeth. Its not a replacement for real vet dentalwork. However, it helps for maintaining and preventing even worse teeth.He had no reaction or discomfort from the wipes after.We also used them on our Westie and she was more agreeable to them.
