Warms nicely
This heating pad comes with two fuzzy covers—brown and gray—a power cord wrapped to help prevent damage, and a large on/off switch that is easy to find.This is intended to be placed underneath a pet bed, so it is not large, but warms the bottom of a pet bed adequately. My 17 year old pup needs a little warmth at night, and this was just the ticket. A good amount of heat warmed him and his bed up perfectly.The protective wrap on the cord should not be expected to completely protect against a persistent chewer.The only caveat is that the cord could be a foot or two longer. I would not want to plug this into an extension cord.

Great Value for Price
My dog LOVES this mat. My mutt is a bit of a princess (he deserves the world and is spoiled accordingly haha), but that means during the cold months he’s struggling. I don’t let him on the bed (trust me, 100+lbs of mutt is better off on the ground then causing world war 3 between who gets the blankets), but with the mat he’s more than happy and content to sprawl out on his own bed. I also liked that it came with two different coverings that easily unzipped and could be tossed into the wash on any given day.

Pet Heating pad
This heating pad saved the day. My dog, Truman Capote is a great pyrenese and will not come into the house at night. He is nocturnal and guards our acreage, Although he doesn’t have to, he is a great pet and loves to be brushed and petted. He has enjoyed the heating pad immensely. I have just now removed it from his house, which is on our porch, it has become quite warm here. It came with a cover, and a cute paw shaped electric control. We love it. good quality

Broke in 5 months
Bought pad in May it is now November and the pad has stopped working. Also, it is a harder or stiff surface so wasn’t optimal from the start. I have to replace pad, kitty is old, hates clothes, skinny and cold in the fall and winter. I wish I could talk to a compassionate human instead of whatever this is. Ha!

I bought two of these heating pads for my small dogs and so far they are working great. I at first thought they weren’t heating up well because they were cold to the touch even though I had the switch on, BUT PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION UNLIKE ME. It states that the heating pad will warm up when it detects that your pet is on it. Once my dog was on it,the heating pad got warm. It doesn’t get overwhelmingly hot,just the perfect temperature. I recommend this.
