Customers say

Customers find the pet carrier to be a high-quality product that’s roomy enough for two adult cats and perfect for long road trips. It is sturdy enough to carry two bigger cats, fits well in the backseat, and is comfortable for pets. The zipper capacity receives mixed feedback – while customers appreciate that it zips open on all 4 sides, some report that the zippers can come undone. Customers consider the carrier well worth the money.

Perfect for cat on cross country move.
My husband and I moved cross country. My biggest concern was our sweet indoor cat. He’s a large cat weighing 18 lbs. I didn’t want him to be cooped up in a small carrier for 3 days. This was the perfect carrier for that. I was able to zip the two carriers together. It’s very durable and worth every penny. It sturdy and strong. You can separate the carrier and use it as 2 smaller carriers or as one large carrier. I used it as a large carrier. It took up my entire backseat and I was able to seat belt the carrier in to keep him safe. I put his favorite blanket and toys in the carrier. On one side, i put a small litter box on one side for him. When I would stop for gas, I would give him a bowl of water or food, clean the litter box, give him attention, etc. He’s the sweetest cat, but he gets very aggressive when he’s scared so transporting him was a big concern. We were able to carry the carrier with him in it with no ease or worries.. the carrier was strong. By day 2 of the move, he was use to the car ride and wanted to be let out so I put his harness on him and would let explore when it was safe for him to do so. Since the move, we have still used the carrier. He likes car rides now so he goes on little trips with us. We will take him to the car in this carrier. When we are outside on the patio, we bring him out with us in his little carrier.Tips for a long trip or move with your cat:1. Buy this about a month or so before your trip! Your cats will get use to it and you both will appreciate that. I bought this way before we moved. I set it up and left it out the entire time so my cat would have unlimited access. He immediately got in the carrier and loved it. He would play in it and sleep in it. When the house became chaotic with boxes and stuff everywhere, my cat knew something was up and his world was upside down. This carrier became his safe zone and he would go in there carrying his toys.2. Make sure you have a pet friendly hotel and take your own sheets, blankets, etc.. I was hesitant about letting my cat out in the hotel because of his fear aggression. When he gets aggressive from being scared, I can’t control him. He will attack me when he’s like that so all I can do is give him his space. When I got to the hotel, I made sure he couldn’t get under the bed and there were no other hiding places. I put my bed sheets and pillows on the bed so he would have familiar scents in the hotel. I let him stay in the carrier for a hour so he could study the room. I decided to let him out of the carrier for the night. He did hiss at me when I got close to him, but his behavior wasn’t nearly as bad as it could’ve been. Familiar scents will help your scared cat. In the morning, I gave him his breakfast and tricked him while he was was focused food so I could put him back in the carrier without him attacking me.3. Take a padded harness and 2 leashes. A regular leash and one with a seatbelt attachment. (Buy it ahead of time and put it on your cat so they can get use to wearing the harness). By the second day, he was tired of being in the carrier. He was no longer afraid of the car or car ride. He wanted to explore and be petted. I put his harness and Leash on and let him explore the car when I would make stops. While driving, I would connect the leash to the seatbelt attachment to keep him safe and out of my way while driving. This made the remainder of his trip less stressful on him.3. Buy cat calming collars. I didn’t ask the vet for medicine to keep him calm because of his fear aggression. I was worried that If I gave him the medicine the first day, while it would help during the drive, I wouldn’t be able to give it to him again that night or for the second day so it wouldn’t really help. He would just just be drowsy and confused making him even more scared being in unfamiliar territory once the medicine wore off.The cat calming collar worked great. He was still scared and aggressive at times, but trust me when I say it was not nearly as bad as it could have been.

    3 cats, 3 weeks, and 3,000+ miles
We have three male cats. They’re all very large (12 lbs – 18 lbs), and two are pretty old (15.5 yrs). They’re all 100% indoor cats, neutered, and pretty well behaved, but any amount of time in a carrier/car, and they cry. One of them becomes an anxious puddle and pees himself every time. It’s basically a nightmare every vet trip.OR AT LEAST IT WAS…When we decided to move from Utah to Delaware, we had no idea what we were going to do, but with a lot of research (and other helpful amazon reviews), we found this kennel and everything changed. Not going to lie, one of them cried the whole first day, but after that it was smooth-going basically the ENTIRE rest of the road trip. I don’t think there’s any way we could possibly be happier with this purchase.Pros:- They all got to be in there together with PLENTY of room to spare, so they could walk around, stretch, cuddle, or get some space if they needed it. There was even room for some toys and stuffies. The older boys slept 90% of the trip, the younger boy played and looked out the window.- It’s EXTREMELY sturdy, both as individual carriers and as a double carrier. I was able to carry the two lighter cats in one by myself and my husband carried the heavier cat in the other, but it’s actually solid enough that we just started carrying them around in the double carrier. The cats enjoyed climbing on top of/around it in the hotel rooms and it showed no sign of collapse. It’s VERY secure.- It is just the right width to fit on most luggage carts. Some we did need to squish it a little, but there is some give. It also fit perfectly in the back seat of our Rav4.- Love that there are so many ways to get access to them, and lots of mesh for them to see out of. I think they hate the plastic carriers because they’re so cramped and claustrophobic, but there was none of that in this carrier.- Comfy. Again, the cats mostly just slept. And in the hotel rooms, when they weren’t snuggled up with us on the bed, they were camping out in the carrier, which we left open for them.Cons:- It is big, but that’s kind of the point.- It’s kind of expensive, but it’s definitely worth every penny. I have ZERO regrets.- Our younger cat DID figure out how to open the zippers in one section, but only because they weren’t in the upper corner. Once I put them up there, he couldn’t get the leverage to escape. Next time, I’ll use a safety pin to secure it. Our other cats had no interest in trying to escape.Basically, this carrier is amazing and saved us so much head/heartache.TIPS:- We never drove longer than 8 hours in a day. Planning ahead was very important for this.- We also never drove more than 2 days in a row. This isn’t always possible, I understand, but one of our cats is definitely showing his age and we wanted to make sure he had some breaks in between to rest… and it definitely helped. They all really got used to playing in the different hotel rooms and stretching out/getting some good sleep in between.- We didn’t feed/water our cats in the morning to help them hold it during the day. We did, however, give them a lickable treat halfway through for some food/moisture.- They all got lots of playtime at night.- Disposable litter boxes are a lifesaver. We used those, crystal litter for their odor control, puppy pads, and a hand broom/dustpan to keep things super clean. Just throw the whole thing away at each hotel when we left. We also brought our own big garbage bags to make it super easy.- For the longer stay (two weeks in Texas), we used a couple of Skoon boxes, which worked out very well, too.- All but one of our hotels was the same chain so we could sign up with and take advantage of their rewards plan, which actually made the last two stays a lot nicer (free upgrades!). I called each hotel well in advance to make sure that they were okay with 3 cats instead of 2, documented it in the reservation notes, and if we were ever going to be late checking in, called to make sure they knew we were still coming. MOST of the hotels I called were very accommodating and kind, and only some of them charged additional fees. They appreciated that I asked.- For the carrier itself, we put puppy pads on the padded inserts and folded towels on top for comfort. On top of the carrier, we put a big blanket, which we could pull down/fold up depending on how much sun was getting in.- We also put under bed tubs full of travel stuff underneath the carrier on top of the seat, which elevated the carrier several inches. This let the cats look out the window and see the scenery. They seemed to like looking at the cars and people whenever we stopped for gas. This makes it harder to buckle them in, but you can still loop the seatbelt through the back and around the headrest (on both sides) for additional security.ANYWAY, we got all three of our boys to Delaware and they’re all in great shape! We’re still shocked. Our old tabby didn’t even pee himself– not even once!!! I’m still shocked.Highly recommended. A+++ Would buy again, except I don’t need to since it’s still in amazing shape and looks like it’s going to last for a long time go come!

Well worth your money!!!! It fits perfectly in the back seats of my MAZDA CX-5. I’ve had this for a year now and use this on 10 hour drives from Sydney to Melbourne and take it whenever our 2 cats come with us on short trips or trips to the vet. I’m able to fit a litter in here on one side and then two cats and their blankets, food, toys in the other side and still plenty of room for them. I simply put the seatbelts through it at the back of it to hold it in so it doesn’t move. It’s quite large and doesn’t deflate if they jump on top of it. Like I said, it’s amazing quality and well worth your money! I also love that you can attach both together and open the middle part and you can also use one on its own if needed. It also folds down so easily to be able to store it in the boot of my car. Hands down this is the best purchase I’ve made I’ve had others before but this one tops them all and I recommend it to all! My cats love it

We got these to try taking our two cats (siblings, not amazing friends) on a couple trips with us. Overall, we’re quite happy with the carriers. They’re easy to set up and fold away, and are sturdy enough to be able to pick them up by the handle with a cat inside without them collapsing badly. Both carriers fit fine in our car (Chevy Bolt) backseat (or with them folded down) side-by-side with room to spare. The cats get good visibility with the mesh panels, and they can be opened from various sides and separated/joined as required. We also got one of the associated hammocks but our cats weren’t interested, so we just leave it in the bottom of one as an extra cushion. We wish they were a bit cheaper, but they work well for their purpose and are well-built. It’s nice that they include a carrying bag to help store them away when not in use, although we often leave them set up in our place because the cats like hanging out in them sometimes when not on trips.

This really is an amazing product that both of my cats took to immediately. The level of care, thoughtfulness and quality that went into every aspect of these pet homes is simply outstanding. The design is meticulous, super detail-oriented and highly intuitive. It is not apparent in the product images, but there is also a good degree of structure in the kennel/shelter and they are firm where they need to be. Both my cats and I thank you for putting in the care and quality you did into this product. Adventure on the road with two happy felines, coming up next…

Great product for those that need extra protection from pets for their car. They fold down easily and don’t take up too much room when fully setup. Just need another set for our other car. Plus my dogs love them. ideal for small to medium sized dogs.

took cats on a 32 hour car trip over 3 days. This was a real saver. make everything comfortable and was easy to transport. I have 2 cats and each had ample space in their cubbies, i could put stuff over the carryon as it was very sturdy and didnt take away from the cats space.Def recommend! The padding is not the greatest so i recommend putting in more soft things for the cats comfort.
