Has helped keep nearly all of our 16 yr old dog’s teeth
Honestly, I don’t even know if there is a better product out there because I’ve used these for so long and they’ve done such a good job, I have no reason to look for anything to replace them. My dogs are obsessed with these and yes, they will riot if we don’t give them their dental chew every single night before bed.I have a 16 yr old minpin chihuahua and a 4 yr old German Shepard/Pittie mix. The 4yr old has never had to have a dental cleaning at the vet because we’ve started her on these chews from day 1. Our 16 yr old has been having annual dental cleanings for years but her vet recommended these when they first came out 10 years ago, and I think they are a huge reason why she has nearly all of her teeth still. She refuses to let me brush her teeth, but she goes feral for these dental chews lol.Pleasant side note, the chews smell just like brownie batter. It’s uncanny.Anyways, I recommend these to every dog owner I know. Expensive? Not really when considering how costly dental cleaning and tooth extractions are. Plus, our dogs effing LOVE them. They are a true treat in every sense of the word.

Great product, cost is best through Amazon, still pricey but recommend!
Recommended by our veterinarian in lieu of other products out there that state they will help with tartar buildup, help with bad breath, etc in lieu of other options found in box stores that can also crack teeth, cause gum irritation or bleeding if excessively chewed on even under supervision. Great alternative to yak cheese (unless the softer option which in turn do not last long ) and deer antlers that can splinter or potentially crack a tooth. If possible still brush as these aren’t a full preventive or best option tor dental care. Please note that in agreement with other reviews this product can cause a mild upset stomach so try putting pumpkin on it or give a small amount before or after. Lastly do not worry when you see stool samples that day or the next come out the color of… Saint Patrick’s Day…yes it will be green.

Great Product
These are great dental chews for my Havanese. Help to keep his teeth clean, although I still brush them. Cheaper than buying the exact same product from the Vet.

Vet Recommended
When my veterinarian discovered that my dog had sheared off a carnassial, she had to go in and have it extracted. While she was knocked out, they cleaned her teeth. The vet sent home a sample of these and told me to wait until her gums were fully healed before feeding it. Supposedly these chews will help keep the teeth clean. I was afraid that they might be super hard and break more teeth, but they are easily chewable by my dog. She loves them! They have a mild non-offensive odor and so far have not stained my carpet. Be careful if your dog tends to try and gulp things whole or in large chunks. Could be a choking hazard. Luckily, my dog takes it slow and easy. Still, she swallows small chunks and I’m not sure how much actual chewing is going on. She will chew them both on the unaffected side, and the side where she had the tooth extracted. Two months since her surgery and so far her breath is fresh. She begs for a chew every day. Gave them four stars because I do not know if the dental benefits will be as stated on the package. Will change up if they work.

Good but have gotten too expensive.
My Mini Schnauzer loves these. They’ve made a noticeable improvement with her breath. They were already almost $1 a piece but they just went up $7 a bag. I then discovered they’re from Germany. So we’ve switched to a chew that is made in the USA and half the price. Hopefully she’ll like them as well.

Noticeable Results and Worth Every Penny!
These OraVet dental chews have made a real difference in my dog’s breath and oral health, and they’re now a daily staple in our routine. The thickness is just right — not too hard, not too soft — so my small dog actually chews them instead of swallowing them whole, which helps the cleaning action really work. After just a couple of weeks, I noticed less buildup on her teeth and her breath was much fresher. For a month’s supply, the value for money is totally worth it, especially compared to costly vet cleanings. Plus, she thinks they’re a treat, so there’s no struggle getting her to take it. If you’re serious about your pup’s dental health, these are a smart and easy investment.

Great product. Beware of subscribe and save!
Great product. We have had this product on Subscribe and Save for ages and isn’t the purpose of subscribe and save, just that? Why has AMAZON decided to RAISE the $ . . . I am a bit upset. Because they raised the price by $8and we get a double batch, monthly, so double price too I assume? yikes.

easily swallowable defeating the purpose, maybe better for dogs with smaller mouths
the first time my dog chewed and chewed because it’s a very hard gummy texture. The second time (2 days ago) she figured out that she only needed to chew it for about 30 seconds before she swallowed it. She does have a large snout. I’m just glad it didn’t get stuck in her throat. Unfortunately that means she’s not really getting the oral benefit because it doesn’t last long enough to really do much. Now to see how well she poops…
