Not meant for giant breeds
I ordered the XXL as I had a St Bernard. I measured my boys leg and ordered based on their sizing guide but it still did not fit him. Far too small. Brace itself is nice but their sizing guide needs work. For anyone with a giant breed, it best to just get one custom made.

Horrible hot spots and VERY weak velcro
The braces seemed like they were doing a great job, but they ended up being horrible.We bought two braces to keep his legs even and him using both, per the vets recommendation. Both sides of our dogs swollen and damaged carpal joint developed hot spots, due to rubbing. The good leg even developed one hot spot. Unfortunately, we now are dealing with not only carpal damage, but two holes/sores from rubbing.On top of that, the Velcro starting rolling and not holding, getting caught on his bed, and pulling off. Horrible experience all around. We do not recommend.

A waste of $40
I bought this because my vet suggested trying it. My dog is 70 lbs, so I bought a large. I does not fit well, and slides down her leg. The velcro does not keep it in place.

Hat unserem Hund während seiner Verletzung am Karpalgelenk gut geholfen. Metallschienen sind leicht zu entfernen und so ist die Bandage der Genesung leicht anzupassen. Erst stärke Unterstützung, dann nur noch leichte Schonung.Auch problemlos zu waschen.

Je recommande chaudement. Mon vieux loulou avait une eu une tumeur dans l’articulation de la patte (équivalent du poignée)et en vieillissant l’articulation s’est affaissée et déformée. Malgré des supports divers et variés il ne pouvait quasiment plus se déplacer. J’ai mis l’orthese ce matin et c’est un petit miracle. Il boîte certes mais il marche.

Es justo lo que buscaba para mi perro: una muñequera con refuerzos laterales para darle más estibilidad a la articulación.En mi caso no es 100% efectiva porque la articulación ya está bastante deformada por la artrosis, y como es un podenco y tiene la pata fina pero la articulación ya como una bola, pues le queda bien en los extremos pero justo en la articulación casi no cierra el velcro, así que no se ajusta bien a la forma de la pata. Al perro no le molesta usarla ni ha intentado quitarsela por sus medios, pero se nota que impide correr con comodidad y se limita a ir al trote (es lo que buscaba, porque como buen podenco se le va totalmente la pinza y lo da todo en las salidas al campo pero luego está 3 días sin poder apoyar el pie por el dolor).Aconsejo usarla con una gasa por debajo para que el roce en el borde superior no acabe provocando una herida. Ah! y no es impermeable, si vas al campo cuendo lluebe o hay hierba mojada se va a mojar, pero no pasa nada, no pierde sujección.
