My kennel top is 10’x5’ and this top was slightly bigger, maybe just a few inches on length and width, but I’m assuming that a few months in the rain and warmer temperatures it will tighten up. Also I searched and searched for a while to find a replacement top that was even close to these dimensions, so I’m 100% satisfied with the size of this top. The materials seem pretty heavy duty, so I should get two or three extreme hot Arizona summers out of it. Also, the addition of the bungee cords that were supplied were a nice addition.

Product did come dirty as if dirt was already on it. But fit to our kennel well, came a little lower where our door will not open outward, just inward but still a durable decent product. Cannot speak on weather/wind hold up at this time due to no experience.

Suits our needs
This Ddeman cover fits our old Lucky Dog 4×4 kennel just fine, with a bit of room left over. It is lightweight, lined, and nicely stitched. It comes with ties.I chose beige to make the kennel blend in better with the surroundings. The cover is lighter than the old Lucky Dog one, which is more tarp-like. I assumed that would be the case from the description which referred to this one as being made of “Oxford Cloth.” To me it looks like nylon.The old L.D. tarp had sprung a few small holes in the 6 years we’ve had it. This was mostly because it rubbed on the wire cage we built to give the cover shape and keep rain from pooling on it. We did this with Vinyl Fencer Wire and wire-ties from Amazon, an easy project. We left the old tarp and wire cage on the kennel then put the Ddeman cover on top. It looks much better and is more protective now.I wouldn’t count on *any* cover to keep a pet dry it has proper support (or is added, like we did). Also, we added clear vinyl curtains on a couple of sides to keep the rain from blowing in while still letting air in the other two sides. There’s a pet house inside it too.I’d give this tarp a 4/5 as I think it needs a few more grommets for tie-downs and it is a bit thin. Still, it works well for our needs and looks better.
