Great product for multiple dogs
This outdoor dog water bottle has been a game changer for us. I have 5 small dogs that range from 4 to 13 pounds. It’s not that any one of them drink or even need a lot of water but all 5 of them together consume a lot of water. I’ve always struggled with trying to make sure I have enough water for all of them even when we do something as simple as our walks. With this water bottle that is no longer an issue, it has proven to be more than big enough. It is even big enough that I just need to bring this for both the dogs and myself, which is quite nice since walking 5 dogs is hard enough without trying to carry a bunch of extra things. It’s surprisingly easy to carry, especially for its size. The handle is durable and comfortable to hold. The water bottle itself is great quality. The plastic is nice and thick, not cheap. I love the design and that it can be used for both you and the dog, even at the same time. I can enjoy a drink while they drink out of the bowl. It’s easy to use. I’ve had no problems with any leaks. I would order this product again as well as recommend it. You honestly can’t beat the price ($29.99 at time of review) for such a high end and convenient product.

Great but small concern
Great and easy to transport. The button gets stuck some and I have to push it from the output to get water to stop pouring. Only happened 1 time so far but good to know.

Heavy duty, yet lightweight water bottle for companions
This water bottle has come in handy more than once on our extended walks. I live in the mountains with many trails accessible within walking distance and sometimes we’ll just randomly take one and see where it goes. My dog is a Newfoundland mix so this works out for his large size. Its easy to fill and use without spilling. I love how the bowl pops out for easy access. The water bottle itself is lightweight, but when water is added, obviously it gets heavier. I only fill according to the weather. On warm summer days, I fill it up as most of the water will be drunk by the time we are finished. In the cooler fall months, I only fill about halfway as he’s just not as thirsty. Overall, this is a super convenient way to add refreshments to his day and make me feel better that my dog is staying hydrated. The plastic is thick and durable which should last for quite some time even in rougher environments. This bottle is handy to take with on walks, hikes, days out and events. The cost is a bit high, but well worth the convenience of portable water for pooches.

Best Water Bottle for Man & Man’s Best Friend
I take long walks when the weather permits, and isn’t 100 degrees outside, with humidity that equals the temperature. This water bottle is great for long walks, hiking, really anything outdoor that you will be doing with your dog. I would recommend this water bottle for a small to medium size dog. If worse comes to worse while hiking with you companion and you lose or forget to bring a water bottle for you, you two can share this one. Please let me explain. There is a top part of the water bottle that humans can drink from; at the bottom, you pull out the little bowl, maybe ¾ of the way. Press the button and water will flow from the main compartment into the bowl but don’t forget to press the button again so it doesn’t overflow. I made that mistake the first time I used it. I would and have recommended this water bottle to other dog owners, at the dog park, Many people who take their dogs on long walks, hikes, or extensive dog park time, will have a water bottle for their dog; the thing that makes this water bottle different, which I think everyone will agree is that there’s no need for a separate water bottle anymore.

Carries a lot of water; two ways to fill the built-in water bowl
We hike in the mountains where it gets hot and is normally very dry, so hydration isn’t an option it’s a necessity. When we take our dog with us, we have to find some way to keep him hydrated as well, and over the years we’ve tried various tricks to accomplish this, with mixed results. Often times we underestimate how much water we – and the dog – will require, and don’t take along enough. That’s no fun. So, when we saw this new ‘Turchongeco Outdoor Dog Water Bottle 50oz Leakproof Portable Pet Water Dispenser with Handle’ on Amazon, we didn’t hesitate to order it. The capacity is just great. We like the fact that the lid snaps shut, can even be locked closed (more on that in a minute) and the water bottle just seems well made in general.I have to say that because of how they designed the built-in button you can press to fill the lower bowl, you are either going to love it or hate it. I’ve had mixed results using it. Sometimes, but never when I’m on the trail and trying to give the dog water, the button works just great, a quick press to start the flow of water and a second to stop it. Other times it either won’t start or won’t stop. Also, if the bowl or the bottle aren’t perfectly vertical the stream of water won’t end up in the bowl as intended. So let’s just say that as of late, I’ve taken to simply filling the bowl using the pouring spout on the top that is integrated into the lid.Speaking of that lid… there’s one thing to look out for, namely the fact that the lid includes a clip that folds up and down which locks the lid closed. The thing is, when you fill up the water tank and go to screw the lid back on, you have to make sure that the locking clip is not in the down position because if it is, the threads will engage but the lid will only screw on about half way and then water leaks out of the top through the threads. You just need to make sure the flip-down clip isn’t in the down position before you re-attach the lid to the tank – ask me how I know :)Overall this is pretty good. It’s a definite improvement over what we had been doing. When I first saw the listing I assumed that I would only be pulling the drinking bowl out partially for my dog to be able to drink the water in it, which is why the button that dispenses a stream of water into the bowl seemed like an important feature. What we’ve learned from using this is that our dog won’t drink from it unless the bowl is sitting by itself on the ground, so using the pour spout on the lid to fill the bowl is no biggie for us. YMMV. Overall we’re quite happy with this product.

Good size but can be tricky to open at times
Easy to use BUT a bit hard to open if you have any mobility issues in your hands. I find that I only take this out for long day trips in the car or when traveling overnight as its a bit bulky for quick walks or adventures. Cleans easily once its taken apart.
