Great for small dog
I have a 8 lb Maltese for reference. This was easy to put together, was sturdy attached to my table, has a nice bag to keep it all together when done. During COVID i had to groom him. Nightmare because he is high anxiety and i was holding with one arm. He had surgery before time for groom in March, we were out of town for groom April and his hair had grown to the point matting was becoming an issue. I did a home groom rather then take him to a new groomer. This table attachment worked as it should. It made it FAR easier to control him. His cut leaves a little to be desired (I am no groomer) but it is shorter, no mats, and its hair it will grow. Pics are set up and after home groom.

Could be better…
This is a decent arm, but could be much better. First, I think the arm doesn’t go high enough. I have a small dog, and I can make it work, but if you have a larger dog you might have an issue (if using the supplied leads). Second, the two straps with rubber protectors do not come apart. i.e. both straps are attached to the one thumb clip and can not be separated from one another. They should each have a clip of their own. I plan on cutting them apart by sacrificing the supplied clip and attaching a separate clip for each lead. Third, I guess they had some extra rubber protector pieces left over from the roll, so they put two short pieces of rubber on the wire. The two short pieces come together right in the middle, which is right on the dog’s throat. Instead of using a complete section of rubber, they likely saved a penny and used scraps sections and called it good enough. Lastly, the nylon lead has the loop twisted through a ring, that I suppose is designed for making it less easy to lose adjustment around the dog’s neck. Well it does that so well that its difficult to cinch it down using one hand. Overall, I would not buy this arm again. I purchased the item at 63% off and now I’m thinking I know why. Had I paid full price… it would definitely be going back.

This works great to help me keep my pooch looking good and healthy
In my effort to elongate my dogs future grooming appointment, I wanted to get her, as a puppy, used to grooming by me. While I can probably never get her to look like a professional groomer which I’m not sure it will matter to me in the end other than make sure she is safej, this grooming table arm made me feel more confident in handling her while i brush, dry and trim her. It is very versatile. I just use one of my tables and it works like a charm. With a few treats to start, my puppy is taking to it just fine. She is 8 pounds and I have it set just a little up from the minimum. So many ways to adjust that this will be perfect for her as she grows. So so happy with this purchase!

Helps with dog grooming
This is not at all a prfessional get-up but does help with home grooming. One of the problems is that you can’t lower it enough for a very small dog (maltese) and the elbow on top does not tighten securely.
