We recommend using a shaker bottle, if possible, but a bowl and a whisk may also be used.
Can PetLac liquid be frozen?
Yes, PetLac liquid may be frozen, in a separate container such as an ice cube tray, for up to 6 weeks.
The formula looks clumpy or smells like spoiled milk, is it safe for use?
No. Milk Replacers are perishable products that are high in fat and protein that have a live probiotic included as well. If a formula appears spoiled in any way, it should NEVER be fed to an animal.
Why should the liquid be discarded after 72 hours?
We advise against storing open liquid milk replacer in the fridge for more than 72 hours to prevent bacterial growth from air exposure. A young animal’s immune and digestive systems are sensitive, so always use fresh formula for their safety.

This is the best milk replacement/supplement product we have tried. I always have this on hand when I have an expecting mom. I had to help supplement my girl’s puppies as she had 9 and then 7 in a litter, and after a few weeks she couldn’t keep up with the demand. We used this to help lighten her load. Then when they were ready to start trying some solids, we would mix this and add it to their puppy kibble, blend it up and get them used to solids slowly. It works wonders and makes for VERY healthy pups!

My picky Chihuahua Momma loves this.
I bought this to have on hand when my little Chihuahua gave birth. I did open it as some of them wouldn’t latch on at first and I worried. The momma who is a picky eater licked the formula off their faces after they drank a little so I made up a little bowl of it for her. She drank it all. Well now I’m here to order another can because she isn’t wanting to drink water but gulps down the formula. The hydration and the nutrients she’s getting are worth it to me.

This would have gotten a 5 star, but when I opened the can it was half full. For nearly $18 I would’ve expected it to be at least 3/4 the way full.

Perfect puppy supplement
Our Shih Tzu did not produce enough milk to feed all 5 puppies so we used this formula to bottle feed them as well. Now that they are starting to eat solid food we have been using it to help soften up the larger pieces instead of water so they are getting even more added nutrition. I have absolutely no complaints! Our puppies have been growing nicely and all have tolerated the formula perfectly.

Item is good. Got it in two for one combo of sorts. But I actually meant to purchase the item for my 2 cats and instead I have accidentally purchased the dog powder. I am not sure if there is a difference because both cats seem to drink this with equal enthusiasm. So yup still a 5 star purchase since it works for me
