Five star review because I couldn’t find these in the stores anymore and fortunately Amazon had them & had them at about the same price point as the store (when I could find them). Even though they are processed in Mexico, at least the beefhide is USA made. My dog loves them. I try to limit him to only having them for 30 minutes max at a time because the beefhide does get soft and I don’t want him breaking off too many chunks and possibly choking on them. Also, this size is great for Australian Shepherd sized dogs and Golden Retriever. The only downside is they kind of smell like chemicals…??? But I haven’t had any health scares thus so I don’t think the chemical smell is harmful!

They sent me the 9-inch bones rather than the 7-inch bones, and that meant there were only 4 in the package, but it was OK because I really only needed one or two. I ordered the smaller ones again, and my dogs are happy.

Poor quality and dangerous product for dogs
This is the “red bag” of rawhide chews by Pet Factory. This bag contains 8 chews for about $ 30.00 including tax. They also have a “blue bag” containing 10 chews for about $ 18.00 including tax. We were buying the “blue bag” for awhile but the last couple of bags were less then desired. The “blue bag” rolls contained many small rawhide pieces wrapped up inside the main roll. Our German Shepherd had a severe choking incident last week when a piece of rawhide from inside about 4″ long and 1/2″ wide got caught in his throat. Luckily my wife was able to get her hand far enough down his throat to extract the piece. We then decided to purchase the “red bag” at almost double the cost of the “blue bag” with even a lesser amount of chews thinking it would be better quality due to the added cost. We gave our dog the first one of the “red bag” chews about an hour ago. We found no difference in the product between the two different bags. The roll from the new “red bag” also contains many small pieces inside the main roll. Very disappointed in this product and even more so because of the additional cost. Why do they offer two different bags with different amounts of rolls in the bags and a hefty increase in price from “blue to red” when there is no discernable difference in the rolls inside ?? Will not buy from this company again and would caution anyone who does to remain very vigilant when they give these rawhide rolls to their dogs.Also want to mention that we contacted Pet Factory directly about this product but received no response whatsoever. Apparently they don’t care.
