I bought this because we were moving cross country and were traveling with two cats.It worked in the sense that it was there for my cats. But I had to sacrifice one of my small office totes to place the litter box in there because one of my cats needs to perch himself on the edge of the litter box (lol) and it’s way too flimsy to do that understandably.My male cat, the one that perches, did have a 100% success rate with making it into the litter box. Mainly because this litter box is small. It was not the end of the world and we were able to clean it up but it’s something to consider if you are traveling with a larger sized cat.I’m giving it 4 stars with the understanding that it would be a good litter box for cats that are smaller and don’t have weird tendencies to put pressure on the walls of their litter box while doing their business.

If you have a cat and travel a lot, this is absolutely a necessity.
I did not realize how badly I needed this product until I had it. Having this product as a military family makes traveling home for the holidays so easy!! It can be used during roadtrips, at the airport, in a hotel/air bnb, etc! It folds down to fit in my purse or backpack, I just throw some clean litter in a liner, and anytime my cat has to use the bathroom, it’s super easy to set up! When she’s done, cleanup is also very easy. The box itself is leakproof, so no leakage. If you use liners, the litter will never touch the product, keeping it very clean and keeping your cat healthy. The design is perfect for on-the-go families with cats. Since I use it with a liner, it does not smell, although I cannot say whether it would if you didn’t use a liner. Overall, a very solid product that I am so glad I bought.

Skeptical at first but turned out to be great
These portable litters did better than I expected. I thought it would be too small for my 14lb cat but he was able to manage it. We used these litters for 3 whole days while on a roadtrip and didn’t even have to dump the litter. We just cleaned it everytime, tied it in a garbage bag and drove. If you’re going on a roadtrip with kitties, these portables won’t disappoint.

I recently bought the Vibrant Collapsible Travel Cat Litter Box, and it has been a game-changer for traveling with my cat! The compact, foldable design makes it easy to pack, and it doesn’t take up much space in the car. The material is durable, waterproof, and easy to clean, the color is cute, the comfort is great which is a huge plus.I hope the cat will have no issues using it, and the included bonus water bowl was a nice touch. Is a great travel litter box but…
I really do appreciate this litter box for quick travel needs. My one complaint- and maybe it’s just my cats lol, but I bought this for an airplane ride and temporary litter box where we were staying until we got home for two kittens I adopted out of state… at least one of my kittens now seems to think any plastic type surface (packaging, tray, trays) is a litter box. It may not be this boxes fault, but it’s confusing my cat. Not a behavioral issue, it’s clearly a confusion issue!!! But this was a life savor for traveling, just not a temp box in a hotel room for any length of time! I did line it with a plastic bag for airport ride to ensure I could carry a “clean” box on my carry on.

Beyond what I expected
I think I have put this travel litter box through the toughest test and it passed with flying colors!I used this travel litter box when I moved with my cat half way across the world. You will also need to get liners. I packed light weight litter in ziploc bags and also a litter scoop. I couldn’t bring a lot of litter so I just scooped and carefully picked up the liner with the litter and save them in a gallon ziploc bag to reuse. As soon as my cat was done with her business, I picked her up right away so she wouldn’t rip the liner. It worked really well.Since it was a long journey, it’s very important that the litter box was easy to use. My cat did not use it every time. So I had to keep setting it up and wait and packing it up. Since it’s simple to set up, there wasn’t any hassle. I even set it up inside the airplane bathroom and it worked despite the tight space.The bonus was that I had to use this travel litter box for 5 weeks while I did not have my regular litter box. The one thing that I was most concern with was my cat peeing outside the box and making a mess. She used to do that almost daily and I had to get an enclosed litter box. I was expecting a lot of messes but surprisingly, my cat never pee’d outside this travel litter box, not even once! My cat would scratch the liner and rip holes but I didn’t replace the liner just for those little holes. I think I only replaced the liner once during that 5 weeks. The best part is, after 5 weeks of regular use and scratches, there was no scratch marks in the litter box. This travel litter box has exceeded all my expectations!

I had to take my cat for 14 hours international flight + an hour domestic flight transfering airports between in 2 different countries. I was so worried for her not able to use the litter box for about 35 hours and found this!! I packed cat litter in zip bag and set it up in the washroom a few times at the airport before depart. She could pee/poo so didn’t on the plane. I strongly recommend this for someone going on any trip with your cat. It’s not that big but good enough to use for 9 lbs cat. Most people don’t know about portable cat litter box and I have recommended to many people already who have cats! Also, the water container got it for free was useful. I gave my cat some water on the plane and at the airport. Both are well made and steady!!
