Stops Pet Hair Before It Sticks: This fabric softener effectively reduces pet hair residue on clothes during the wash. Specially designed for pet households, it helps prevent up to 90% of fur from clinging to fabrics—making it a powerful pet hair remover for laundry without the need for sticky rollers.
Safe on Skin & Fabrics – Powered by Plants: Crafted with plant-based enzymes, this gentle pet hair remover for laundry is free from dyes, parabens, and bleach. It’s color-safe and hypoallergenic—perfect for sensitive skin and regular use. Keep garments fresh, soft, and fur-free with every wash.
Compatible with All Washers & Temperatures: Whether you’re using a top-load, front-load, or HE machine, this versatile pet hair remover integrates seamlessly into your routine. Unlike hair dissolvers, it works mechanically with water flow to rinse away fur—making laundry easier, cleaner, and more efficient.
Ideal for Clothes & Pet Hair Resistant Bedding: This product performs best with everyday clothes, lightweight blankets, and pet hair resistant bedding. For thicker pet beds, ensure water can circulate freely—hand-washing may be preferred if padding is too dense to rinse thoroughly.
Flexible Dosage for Effective Pet-Hair Separation: Use 25 ml (0.85 fl oz) for up to 4 items or 50 ml (1.69 fl oz) for up to 8; For deep fur removal, use a short soak cycle. This allows the fabric softener formula to target embedded pet hair and odors more effectively.
Maximize Water Flow & Drum Space: Using high water levels, a spacious drum, and extra rinse cycles will help flush out loosened fur. Avoid overloading—limit laundry to half of the washer’s capacity to prevent redepositing hair onto clothes. This ensures it functions effectively as a pet hair remover for laundry.

    Impressive, but pricey
Okay, I did not have high hopes for this product, but I am officially VERY impressed. Two things that may be important to note while considering my experience as described in this review:1. I have a Maytag “Pet Pro” washer and dryer set, with a setting specifically for (allegedly) removing pet hair.2. I ordered both the laundry detergent AND the fabric softener, and used them BOTH on the trial load(s).A bit of back-story so you will understand WHY I am so impressed:I am disabled with a few chronic illnesses, and the one that has been giving me the most trouble recently is fibromyalgia. I’m in constant pain, literally 24 hours a day, and am constantly running on an empty tank of energy. If you’ve ever had the flu – I mean the REAL flu, the one that can land you in the hospital, not just a heavy cold – then you know the feeling of your entire body weighing 3x more than it does, of being too tired to turn your head in bed, of being unable to think past the goop that seems to have filled up your braincase. That’s how I feel **all the time.** I recently went more than ten days without a shower because #1 I was too exhausted to walk to the bathroom that has the shower chair, and #2 I did get there once with a friend’s help, but the water hitting my skin was so painful, even on the lowest-pressure setting, that it made me cry and I had to stop. So, needless to say, I haven’t been able to do laundry. About three weeks ago I was having a good day and tossed a load of sheets and a blanket into the washer, but then life lifed me and I never remembered to take them out, and then I didn’t have the energy to take them out, and I kept forgetting to ask my lovely friend, who helps me when things get bad, to do it for me. I live in the desert Southwest and it’s been hot as anything, so I knew they had dried to a crust, so I wasn’t too worried. Now, the review of the performance of the detergent and fabric softener:Today I was feeling a bit better so I decided to try to tackle a few loads – but first I had to rewash that load of sheets. I also needed to review these products, the Seedshub detergent and fabric softener, so hey! Three birds, one stone, right?I have four cats and a small dog who love to sleep on/in the bed with me. Because I spend a lot of time IN bed, with my illnesses, my sheets and blankets very quickly get covered with pet hair, despite my best efforts to keep it under control. And remember, I have a washer and dryer specifically engineered to remove pet hair, and this load of bedding had already been washed once.So the first thing I did was remove the big dried clump of pet hair from the washer’s filter. Then I pulled out the crunchy bedding, shook them out a bit, made sure the inside of the washer was clean, carefully read the instructions on both bottles of Seedshub product, put the bedding back in the washer, and followed the bottle’s instructions. (Of note, I also added a dose of Downy Rinse & Refresh since the linens had been sitting there for weeks.)The photos attached show the amount of pet hair that the Seedshub Remover got out of the sheets and blanket – AFTER they had already been washed once and a big clump of pet hair had been removed by the washer designed to do so. I had already thrown away the dried up clump from the three-weeks-ago wash so I can’t compare it to be sure, but I think the Seedshub product got AT LEAST as much out on the second wash as came out on the first wash.I have another set of laundry in right now – towels, this time; should have less hair on them to start with, but we’ll see – and I will update with photos of how much hair is in the filter after that load. But so far I am really impressed. That was the “good” part. Oh, also it has a pleasant fresh smell, not overpowering, which is a big plus. I hate heavy scents in laundry products. The reasons for the deducted star:This stuff is EXPENSIVE. Even as effective as it seems to be, at this price, I can’t justify using it as my regular detergent. If my continued tests show that it really is as good as the preliminary tests indicate, I’ll probably reserve it for bedding and pet-specific laundry, and a few items that tend to hold hair (including human hair) more than others. I’ll also keep an eye out for sales, but on a disability income I can’t afford the price – which is a shame. The “squeeze up then pour” dispenser is problematic for me. It requires me to, well, squeeze the bottle, something that is hard to do with severe bilateral hand arthritis, and then it requires holding the bottle at a very awkward angle to pour it – hopefully without spilling and wasting any of the very expensive product – into the dispenser. It also dribbles all down the side of the bottle. I would vastly prefer a traditional pour spout. All things considered so far this seems like a fantastic product, but at the price, it will remain a luxury for me. I hope the manufacturer is able to get wide enough distribution to bring the price down soon!Full item name: Pet Hair Remover for Laundry, 90% Fur Removal, Fabric Softener Liquid(Non-Dissolving) + Stain Remover, Removes Residue & Odors, Cedar Scent – 27 fl oz, 32 Loads

    Just try it!
I recently bought a detergent that was supposed to dissolve pet hair. It was a huge let down when it did nothing. But this is different. It works mechanically with water flow to rinse away fur—making laundry easier, cleaner, and more efficient. It is supposed to keep 90% of hair off of clothes. So, I decided to give this a try and hoped for the best.First off, I love this bottle. It has a customizable cap that has two measurements on it. All you do is gently push in on the bottle and the cap begins to fill up with fabric softener. You get to choose which measurement you want to go with. I used the first, smallest amount, measurement which was the same amount I use for other fabric softeners such as Downy. I really like the scent of this which is nothing like what it says on the bottle. It says it has a cedar scent. I was actually put off by this and almost didn’t get it. It’s not that I don’t like cedar it just seems like an odd scent for fabric softener in my opinion. But when I opened the cap, it smelled like my other fabric softeners. No cedar at all! After I washed my clothes and before I put them into the dryer, I noticed how soft they felt. They were softer than other more popular brands are, and my clothes smelled great. I was impressed with this. I wasn’t sure if this is a generic or some other off brand of some kind, so this impressed me. You never know what you are going to get, and I have become weary of these kinds of things like this.I always still put a dryer sheet in the dryer with my clothes even though the bottle doesn’t say to. My clothes after the dryer smelled great and I could tell that was due to the fabric softener. As far as it doing what it says it will do with hair I can’t yet say for, I have not yet had a chance to wear the clothes that I washed with the fabric softener. However, something else I noticed while washing my clothes with the fabric softener was how much hair, threads, and fuzzies were now on the sponge that I always put in the washing machine with my clothes that are supposed to catch all of that. Normally, it doesn’t do much of anything if at all. But this particular time it was full of stuff, and I can’t help but wonder if it was the fabric softener repelling this stuff away from the clothes and giving it no other choice but to stick to the sponge. I would like to think so.It will take more washings and wearing those clothes before I can really tell if the fabric softener is keeping hair off and keeping it off enough that I don’t have to use my sticky tape as much if at all. Wouldn’t that be nice!So far, I am liking this a lot and definitely will be using more of it. I like the smell. I like the feel on my clothes. And I think it is repelling at least some of the hair even while it is inside the washing machine washing my clothes. They need to change the name of the scent on the bottle, I think. And it may be a little pricey. But I didn’t need very much of it to wash a huge washing machine full of clothes. It acts as though it is concentrated. To then read on the listing that it wants you to use to caps for a small load and much more for bigger loads I was confused. Maybe that is how much you need in order to keep hair off. I don’t know. But if I was to put that much on my clothes, I think it would be way too much. Like I said I used only one cap at the smallest measurement on the cap, and it was plenty for a very large load of clothes. Maybe they should change how much you should use as well. And then to find that it is plant and mineral based is almost unbelievable to me. That means it should work for people with more sensitive skin. So, I just hope that people aren’t turned away from what they think would be a cedar scent and that they would think they would need to use a large amount of fabric softener on their clothes which would lead them to think it wouldn’t be cost effective. Just try it! And try it with a smaller amount than what it says on the bottle/website first.

smells great and removed odors, not much of a reduction in pet hair though
I really like the scent of this in my laundry. It has a fresh cedar scent that not only smells great on the pet blankets but on my own clothes as well. The cap makes it easy to measure out how much to use. To fill the cap, you just squeeze the bottle holding it upright and the liquid fills into the cap. It’s different but I like it. The quality seems good, and it is effective in removing odors and making the fabrics feel softer. I haven’t really noticed a difference in reduced hair on the fabrics though. The price point is also pretty high in my opinion. This would not be something we could afford on a regular basis.

Works incredibly well for pet hair
This works great. It’s highly effective when removing pet hair from clothing. We have nine cats around here and pet hair is definitely an issue. We have cats of every color from white to black and everything in between it seems. It doesn’t seem to matter what color you wear, the hair is there. We’ve tried all sorts of things that say they help remove pet hair but have always just been stuck with sticky rollers to try to do the job. Not anymore! This is great. It took the hair off of black pants that are incredibly hard to get hair off due to the texture and it took the hair off of pure white shirts. This is bit on the expensive side but you don’t use a lot in a load. A little goes a long way. The only thing I didn’t love was the smell when you first pour it in. However, after your clothing is done being washed don’t really smell it. It’s just when you pour it in before you start the washing cycle.Make sure you read the directions on how to dispense it. It’s unique. You open the lid first, squeeze until it fills to the appropriate line, then just pour it in.This is expensive to some degree but incredibly worth it if you have pets who shed.
