A Must Have for Small Dogs!
My little dog recently hurt her back jumping off of my bed. It’s been total game changer. The stairs are lightweight and very sturdy, and the non-slip surface gives my dog the confidence to use them without hesitation. Assembly was simple and took less than five minutes—no tools required! If you have a small or older dog who needs a little boost, I highly recommend this staircase. It’s safe, supportive, and makes life easier for both pet and owner! It will also help save you large vet medical bills.

These stairs finally reach up to our high bed. I no longer have to dead-lift our dog and have to stretch out the next morning thinking I pulled something. Stairs come assembled. The foot stand just pops into place. They also collapse where we can stick them under the bed when needed. Only complaint I have is that I have gotten up and stubbed my toe on them forgetting they were up against the bed for Mr. Wiggles, the 80 lbs. barking sack of potatoes.Before you exude sympathy for me and my dainty toes, don’t worry, I made it through it with prayer and a good support group. The stairs are light, so luckily, it wasn’t that bad. Complaint number two is that when I come back from the nightly bathroom break, Mr. Wiggles has found his way into my spot in the bed and now instead of wincing from the pain of heaving him up into the bed, I am now faced with pushing what feels like a limp zebra over to obtain 6 inches of bed space. (Dont worry, Wiggles doesn’t dare get on Mom’s side of the bed as she has surrounded herself with pillows (and the wrath of God). I can’t attribute this second problem to the stairs, but hey, lets just play seven degrees of separation here.The stairs come with padded strips to affix to each step so your Mr. Wiggles won’t misstep or slide off. The stairs feel pretty sturdy no matter how big or small your pet companion may be, but I would not suggest using these for a step ladder (Yes, I have a PHD in darwin-ism).Great stairs, good price, nice height, and mot importantly, dog approved. They will help instantly assist in the headache you created by letting your pet up on the bed, yet now, they can do it all on their own without assistance! May your life be ever changed.

Skinny steps
The anxiously awaited steps arrived a day earlier than scheduled. While there were minimal instructions, it was quickly and easily assembled. There are two tabs plugged into the two perforations. I was concerned that the tabs didn’t seem to bend enough and might break off. Nope! They were strong and pliable and popped easily into place. There are stick on “non slip” mats to apply to each step and small stick on pieces to ostensibly keep the feet from slipping on the floor. NOT! I have ceramic tile floors in the area where the steps will be used. The stairs slid around regardless of the adhesive pieces. The dog was wisely uneasy going up the steps and more so on the down side. I put a rubber backed small rug under it and it became far more steady. HOWEVER, there are no sides on the stairs and my dog has gone over the edge a time or two (another reason to have the rug beneath the contraption). I angled it between the chaise lounge portion of my sofa and the sofa itself to give the dog additional protection. It would be so easy to redesign the product to add see through sides to the stairs to prevent falling. The sticker attached to the steps says it will hold up to 120 pounds (of what?) My Yorkie is 8 pounds at most with tiny feet and he has some difficulty managing the steps. I am sure this is an individual problem, but I can’t imagine a big dog using these. They stairs would need to be taller with a greater distance between the steps. They are solidly built and easy to clean. I personally find the color absolutely putrid! I plan to spray paint them at some point. They are sort of an orange crate yellow/tan, if you can imagine that. I was surprised at how easily my senior dog learned to use them. As others suggest, I put small treats on each step and that was motivation enough to RUN up and retrieve the treats. Hopefully, other dogs will climb slowly. Not my dog, and that contributes to my safety concerns. I would buy the product again because I can seen the need increasing with his aging. Leaping up and down off sofas has potential for wear and tear on doggy joints and training dogs not to do it in the first place is the way to go. Good luck if they hear a noise while on a sofa or bed!

good for older pets
Great value. My older dog can get in the car easily now. It’s sturdy and is easy to use, just not very easy to fold

I bought these stairs for my cat after he had a leg amputated. I bought 2 sets, one to put against the bed and the other against the sofa. These stairs are designed really well; they’re solid quality and yet very light weight and they work with different kinds of furniture. Even if your sofa/bed etc are slightly higher or lower than these stairs, you’ll be pleased to see how they still fit really well and provide great assistance. There’s good grip on the stairs so no slipping. I wouldn’t have been without them – 8 weeks after surgery and my cat still uses them rather than jumping.
