Sturdy, can be used in the bath to lather up and gentle on skin, not good for high shedding dogs
Works great on my Dalmatian! The bristles are stiff enough to detangle but not hard enough to hurt my pup. This is not the tool you want if you’re looking to groom a dog that sheds a lot as it doesn’t pick up hairs. You’ll want something different to remove shed fur as this isn’t stiff enough and the bristles are straight and don’t collect loose hairs. This brush is durable, it works amazing in the bath to help lather up and thoroughly wash the fur down to the skin, the material allows it to get soaking wet and not have any sort of moisture retention or damage as a result of being submerged. Using it is faulty standard, just brush from nose to tail each day! Even dogs who dislike being brushed won’t mind this one since it’s so gentle. My dog hates other brushes but co-operates perfectly for this brush.

THE BEST PET BRUSH *Corgi Approved!*
My corgi hates getting her hair brushed but if you know corgis she needs brushed. I bought this as a last resort and I am so glad I did. This helps get all the lose hair off her without her “hurting” (if you even bring a brush near her she cries but not this one!! ) This brush does not scare her at all she loves how gentle it is and how it isn’t HUGE! The colors are nice and it is super easy to clean. I just use paper towel to pull the excess hair off and toss it! Would buy this for any heavy shedding pup!

Good brush
This brush works well on both of my German shepherds. The grip is comfortable and the bristles aren’t sharp so it doesn’t hurt the dog. It gets all the shedding undercoat out. Good price too!

Great brush for my Pomeranian puppy!
I got this brush for my Pomeranian puppy, and while he’s still getting used to it, he already lets me brush him from time to time which makes me really happy! I’ve personally been using Tangle Teezer brushes for over 8 years, so I’m thrilled my Pom now has the same great quality in his own brush.The bristles are soft and gentle, perfect for his delicate fur. It’s easy to clean, comfortable to hold, perfect size and the mint color is my favorite. The price is also very reasonable for the quality. Definitely a must-have for puppy owners!

Really works for long and short haired dogs!
This brush is awesome! It’s soft enough for the dogs skin where they aren’t bothered and try to run away when I brush, but hard enough to really grab onto the hair both in and out of the shower. I have both a short haired dog and long haired dog and the amount of hair that it grabs from both is crazy! The shedding in my house is enough where I vacuum daily to 2x a day. I’ll post my dogs below. I’m hoping this helps alleviate it a bit! If so, I’ll post an update.

Great for Doodle & Poodle fur!
We have a BichonPoo and a Goldendoodle. Both whose hair grows quickly, is fluffy and curly, and needs regular grooming. Even with monthly grooming appointments and using the metal comb and the razored dematting comb at home between appointments, our dogs sometimes get mats. We want to avoid them having their fur become felted (which is painfully inhumane for them), but they also w always want to sit in one place for a full body brush-down every day. I’ve got Tangle Teezers for myself and my kids and decided to get one for the dogs; and was pleased to see this pet-specific option. It’s been a game changer. It can get through their fur quickly and comfortably. They like it a lot more than the other tools we had been using. It keeps them fluffy and shiny. The bichon’s fur is easier to keep poufy so it’s not coiling or matting (and is honestly just so much cuter). We are looking into adopting another large doodle, and if we do I’ll nab another one of these. It was a great purchase; makes keeping their coats tidy a breeze for us and a lot more enjoyable for the dogs.

How great is this?
I will say it works for brushing matted hair, however the deshedding not so great. Maybe I need a bigger brush however I have a small dog lots of hair long also. So I need to find a better deshedding brush.

I got this for my yorkie and i couldn’t use it because it doesn’t open any tangles or doesn’t collect hair since my dog’s hair is so thin. So i still use a classical dog brush for her.I would say it is useless for small dogs which has straight fur. Might be good for the big or curly fur dogs.

I had a different brush before for my dog but it was very hard and my dog didn’t like it at all! This one he absolutely loves because it’s like you are petting him and the bristles are very soft it doesn’t pull at all and it also doesn’t hurt my dog at all. He enjoys being brushed now and it detangles quite easily. My dog has medium to long fur it’s quite soft fur so it tangles easily but this brush absolutely gets rid of all of them without it being a bother to my dog!

Macht was sie soll und unser Zwerpudel lässt sich damit gern bürsten. Man kommt gut durch die Löckchen und der Hund scheint es zu genießen, während er eine andere Bürste völlig ablehnt. Daher sind wir happy mit dem Produkt.

I got Tangle Teezers for my own hair (love them) and I bought one for my dog as well (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). It is a very nice brush, very sturdy and very nice to hold. It does a good job, sometimes it gets stuck but then again my dog sometimes really has some big knots in her hair as she likes to sniff and go after scents, and I am really happy with it, my dog also loves it.
