Amazing and beautiful backpack
I absolutely love the PetAmi Dog Backpack Carrier! It’s well-made, sturdy, and super comfortable for both me and my dog. I have a Maltese and knowing that he won’t grow larger than that is perfect.The design is thoughtful — plenty of ventilation, a soft bottom pad, and secure straps that keep my pup safe and cozy. I use it for hikes, vet visits, and even short trips, and my dog actually enjoys being inside it! The extra pockets are great for treats and small essentials. It came with a bonus travel bowl as well. The quality is top-notch and the zippers are strong. Highly recommend this backpack for anyone who wants to travel comfortably with their furry friend!

Love this, and so does my cat! It’s nice and sturdy and safe for kitty. The netting is sparse enough to see through, but also sturdy enough that it won’t rip up if kitty decides to put their claws on it. At first I wondered why the netted areas weren’t bigger, but then a loud noise scared baby kitty and I saw her duck down to hide. That explains that. Having some no window space lets the cat duck down and hide if they ever feel threatened, so they don’t get too stressed. Flexible enough to be comfy for kitty while also sturdy enough to be protective. Good quality zippers.My kitty loves this much more than the standard carrier. While a hard plastic carrier might still be best for things like a long trip or stressful move, this backpack is perfect for play. Take kitty on a walk, take kitty to the park, take kitty to safely sniff the outdoors without risk of running off or attacking the birds.Best for smaller cats. Females tend to be smaller in size and should fit fine, but large males may not comfortably fit inside. Make sure to check the measurements so you know you’re buying the correct size for your cat.

Awesome quality for the price!
Perfect for our average sized cat (8lbs). She has room to move around. Is super comfortable to wear as a backpack or worn facing forward on my chest, which is what I’ve been doing most with her. She LOVES it and literally meows at the back door to go out now. Only after two trips to the park!We also have a 13lb cat who fits pretty well still, more snug for him to spin around in. With him inside, the backpack was comfortable for my boyfriend, but not so much for me. No fault on the bag really, the frame on the lower back area just digs in more with the heavier cat inside. Wearing it on the chest was better so I could use my hands to help. Maybe more padding on this area would help. The straps and all other areas of the pack were still quite comfortable though, more so than I expected. It was his first time outside, he did seem to enjoy it! Until the mail truck door closing nearby scared him and he peed a little inside the backpack, poor guy. He wanted to go home after that and luckily we were close by. And oh my, the sherpa liner in this thing is wonderful! We immediately took it out, machine washed it with soap and vinegar, let it air dry, and back to new! We took the second cat out later that day! Big thumbs up to the bag for that removable liner and the quality, easy to clean material on the inside.The windows and placement of them are perfect. It’s nice to be able to zip open/closed all sides of the bag. The ability to roll up the top window is also great.Overall, a wonderful purchase! We plan to purchase a second one soon for our big guy, so our two cats can go out together (even though he makes it a little more uncomfortable). 🙂

Good backpack, could use more padding
I’ve been enjoying this bag after having a different style for my cat. This is roomier and nice to have the sturdy top and additional storage pockets. It’s fairly comfortable although I wish it had padding at the bottom as the frame digs into my hips and lower back. I’ve tried to affix padding with no luck so often wear a filled fanny pack and let the backpack rest on it to alleviate the pressure on the bones / back. If this had hip /‘bottom padding it would be 5 stars.

Perfect Carrier!
This is prefect for our Yorkie and great for our cats too. Recently I wason crutches and needed to take one of our cats to the vet, I was able to load him up and put him on my back to get him up the steps to his appointment. I love that there are 4 points of access with safety clips to ensure the pet cannot escape, a fleece bed, a leash attached, clip on collapsing water bowl that is one of the best water bowls I’ve found and the best thing about it is it folds flat when not in use but is extremely sturdy when in use, the bag doesn’t collapse in on the animal at all.This is a well thought out, well constructed product. I’m thinking of getting two more because it’s prefect for each animal, they can sit up comfortably or lie down and you can either carry it by the carry handle or by the way to assist backpack straps with waist band. There’s also a handy pocket to keep treats, poop bags, wipe, keys, your phone, etc.

Great but could be better
This is the second pet carrier I have purchased from this brand, the first is the expandable version of this and I love it but don’t really expand it while traveling by plane and I wanted to get this one because it’s a little slimmer and easier to transport without the expandable part. Unfortunately this version doesn’t have 2 features I love that the first one does and I think not having these really takes away from the quality of this carrier. The handle on the top of this one is very flimsy while the other one was well made and padded. Also the bottom of this one doesn’t have the protective feet so any time you put it down it’s fabric touching the ground that will then touch your back once you put it back on. Being that I got this to use at airports that’s not great, I put this in the floors of the bathroom as it is too big to hang from the door especially with this flimsy handle. The back straps are still great and there is enough room for my 10 lbs shih tzu to be comfortable and see out. Haven’t used this one on a plane yet but I’ve never had any problems traveling with the bigger one so I don’t see this one giving you a problem as your carry on, gives a little bit of leg room but not much. This was $10 less than the bigger one, the only difference shouldnt reflect the quality, if you care about the bottom alone it’s worth it.

Justo como se ve, a mi gatita le encantó, aún falta probarla en el avión pero se ve de buena calidad, buen tamaño aunque en vertical el espacio puede resultar un poco reducido para mi gata adulta, es Justo del tamaño que promete y muy firme para sostener a la mascota. En general excelente producto.

My adventurous cat loves this backpack. We’ve had several walks, car rides and even bike rides with this bag. She loves looking through all the different mesh windows while feeling safe in her backpack. It’s cozy for her but after a little while, the bottom mat board starts to dig into your back. So a little cushioning is needed if you are off on longer adventures. Otherwise, this bag is durable, sturdy and made out of good quality material. There’s a bonus with the purchase it also comes with a silicone bowl for water. Muffin is about 13-14lbs this one is good for bigger pets as well. I would definitely recommend this bag to friends and family!
