Removes gunk from pet’s teeth
PetSmile toothpaste removed heavy gunk from my dogs teeth after daily brushing for about one month. Dog is a rescue about 5 years old. He had bad breath and to be honest I never thought about pulling his mouth open and examining his upper side teeth. They became infected and vet recommended pulling nearly all of dogs teeth. After clearing the infection with antibiotics and not willing to consider having my dogs teeth pulled out…. I researched dog toothpaste on Amazon and decided to try PetSmile. It has been about one month and I can see his teeth again and his gums are looking healthier. There is still some tartar but nothing even close to what he had before. I was shocked at how well this toothpaste works. I find that if I gently open the side of the dogs mouth and slip the toothbrush inside, then softly hold his jaws together and brush, it is easier and he tolerates the brushing. Holding his jaws gently together while brushing the sides of his teeth keeps the toothbrush from touching his tongue which was causing him to gag. My dog sits patiently while I brush his teeth every night before bed. Thank you PetSmile for saving my dogs teeth. I never would have believed it if I had not tried this toothpaste. And I think putting it into the dogs mouth at bedtime gives it the entire night to work. Hope this is helpful to all the dogs out there who want to keep their teeth!

The toothbrush works as described. I especially like the big and small brush. It makes cleaning so much easier.I used to use a large amount of toothpaste however, I realized how quickly I went through the tube while the price was on a higher side.I started to portion it better.My dog wasn’t used to be brushed for the last 14 years but the toothbrush made a difference. He still resists it when he sees the brush but he knows the brushing is inevitable 😅.I highly recommend this product to any dog owner.
