This bag is perfect for transporting small animals on the airplane. It fit perfectly under the seat in-front of me. The plane was a Boeing 717 so I canāt imagine a planeās under seat storage getting much smaller than that. The bag is lightweight, collapsible, and provides adequate ventilation. The only thing I wish it had was a storage pocket. My cat at the time was only two and a half pounds. Now he is 8lbs and he is pretty snug in there.I feel the build quality is okay for the price. If you were to use it daily to take your animal with you to work, you may opt for something else (zipper is not the most heavy duty) but for the occasional vet and airplane trips, itāll last you a bit.

Great TSA approved carrier
Moving to another state and traveled by plane with my very skittish cat. This carrier was great, she could see on 3 sides, could take her out through the top when going thru TSA, and fit my 8 lb cat with room for her to easily move around. Highly recommend if you are air traveling wuth your pet!

We bought these to fly our kittens from Florida to Connecticut. They are the approved size to fit under a seat. The carrier is sturdy, and well made. It has good ventilation and is pliable, but does not collapse. Easy entrance and exits for the cats and doubled nicely as a play tunnel! Good product.

Tight Fit on United Flight
I purchased this carrier for an air travel with my 11lb cat, and overall, the carrier is great quality, durable, and easy enough to carry, however, it did not fit fully under the seat on my plane. For reference, I flew United Airlines on a Boeing 737 MAX 9 plane in Premium Economy with extra legroom. The carrier stuck out quite a bit from under the seat, and without the extra legroom it would have been very uncomfortable for me (for reference, Iām 5ā9). The photo I attached isnāt the best due to the blanket covering my kitty, but you can see how far it sticks out. Width wise, the carrier fit well, it was just a bit too long and maybe a bit too high for the aircraft I was on as I could not push it in any further. I do wish it had pockets, which would make it a lot better for travel, and also that the straps/handles were better quality. I have a rather large cat who is still growing, and I cannot see the handles continuously handling his weight for more than a few uses, so I ended up having to hold the carrier horizontally with both hands. If you are aware of what aircraft/airline you are traveling with, I would take precautions purchasing this carrier and maybe find one a bit smaller if you can swing it.
