If you have a naughty bun (like we do) he can and will open the drawer and chew up the pad!
This is a good size. We have a Flemish Giant, and he uses this box, mostly successfully. We’ve had to arrange things so that he can’t get to the drawer because he is a very naughty rabbit and likes to open the drawer and pull the pad out and destroy it. I took off a star for because it’s too easy for the rabbit to get the drawer open.

The litter box along with the attachable bowls was one of the best investments in one of the main factors in me purchasing. The litter box comes with a grated surface that keeps your pet clean as their poop falls through to the litter box tray. Everything feels as if it was built with quality material nothing was flimsy everything was easy to use. Changing the litter is easy!! The design of the bowls is incredible because you basically have four bowls with the inner being metal. To attach to the cage would mean that the bowls would sit up too high though so I just reused the attachable bowls for my cat’s hotel cage

Best for small bunnies
Used for my designer-bred mini Lionhead rabbit (I do not support this kind of breeding, Oatie is a rescue). My rabbit is litter trained in that we put a little hay in the litter pan and some in a dispenser. He eats the clean hay but also poops in the litter pan (normal for many rabbits), the pan is not just a grate over a waste tray for our uses. We got this pan so the poop and urine would strain out into the lower pan a little because even though the rabbit doesn’t mind it, we wanted his hay to be as clean as possible.He fit easily in this for eating and pooping, but he likes to lie down in his hay and stretch all the way out (yes, in the litter box – also normal for some rabbits), he couldn’t do that in this litter box. The lower edge makes it easy for him to get in and out but he would also knock out all the hay. Stopped using after a week.Don’t regret the purchase at all – if it were twice the size (length or width) it would be close to perfect. Should be great for guinea pigs and other small animals. Still not sure how this didn’t work for a 3lb rabbit but again he likes to lie down in it and stretch out – and he has a literal castle with custom ordered fleece cushions so it’s not a lack of space; he just likes to lay in the hay š Will donate to a rescue or keep as a backup and go back to using a large cat litter pan with a layer of litter on the bottom and a layer of hay on the top.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Other reviews are correct, the bowls did not come with the back fastener screw. Do not recommend. Buy something that is $5-10 more and waste your time and money returning it.Ā

I LOVED this litter box
I absolutely LOVE this litter box. It is super large, holds a lot, doesn’t leak, and easy to clean. Please make sure you measure before you purchase this to make sure it fits where ever it is intended to go, because its BIG. Great litter box. Would purchase again. Bonus was the super high sides and backs. Never had a urine spill over because of it. Used for two rabbits.

The litter box worth 5 stars, take away 2 stars for missing a dust pan
Everything is good but disappointed for the missing dust pan. Two bowls came with the litter box were nice. My two rabbits can use the litter box at the same time and they like sleeping there.Highly recommend and seller please update your information if dust pan is no longer included.
