Great collar
Love this collar on my dogs. They are highly visible at night, easy to put on but not so easy for my dogs to take off. Feels strong and study. And the color is cute on my pup.

Do not buy
Cute colors, but this collar has fallen off of my dog 3 times without her or me touching it. She’s a short haired dog, and anytime she shakes, or it gets stuck on her harness, the collar comes undone and falls off of her. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their pet safe.

Great expecally for the price
Havnt had an issue with the latch comming open, which was my initial concern with how cheep the price is. But it works great. My dog is an 80 pound German Shepard cane corso mix and it hasn’t come unlatched

Too Easy to Unlock Clasp
Weight and color of the collar and leash/ID tag rings are great, but the clasp style itself opens too easily. It fell off after a small shake and scratch session moments after I put it on my dog, and it also unhooks by accident when you grab the collar and by mistake are in the area of the clasp.If they significantly increased the pressure required to open the clasp, this would be a really great product – but as it is, the clasp is not reliable.

Nice collar!
It seems to be a sturdy collar and it looks nice with the reflective white stripes. The D-ring for the tags/leash is very thick. It took great effort to open the tag rings wide enough to hang the tags on the D-ring. Yes, I used a staple remover to open the rings. We don’t use this type of collar for walking our dog. She is only wearing it to look pretty and to hang her various tags. I’m hoping the buckle stays closed since reading that others had trouble with it randomly opening. I gave 4 stars because of the overly thick D-ring.

Don’t Buy
Beware: Clasp sucks. My dog had this collar on for exactly two days and it fell off somewhere. I knew the clasp looked flimsy but I brushed it off initially. Very frustrating. Do not buy.

Broken or missing closure spring
Decent collar, but the spring that keeps it clipped broke after a few weeks. We can force it closed, but it tends to pop off when you don’t want it to.

The collar is good quality and we liked it however the metal catch has two release clips that stand proud and we didnt feel confident that our dog wouldn’t release the collar rampaging through bushes etc so we returned it unused

The latch is too short and takes minimal pressure to open. I have two dogs that play and this collar gets unclipped and lost all the time.I should have returned it earlier but now I’ve just missed the window.

I’ve been really impressed with both the performance and the visual appeal of this Plutus dog collar. I have posted two photos of the collar as it is after my dog has been wearing it without any issues since I received it a little over two weeks ago. Although it is far too early to say for certain, as you can see from the photos, there is no obvious sign of any wear or loosened threads. I have every confidence that this is a well designed and constructed item that will provide a long period of good service.I had never used the ‘aviation buckle’ system of attachment previously but I think it’s great. Very easy to attach and I have had absolutely zero issues with unplanned detachment. In the interests of honesty, I will say that my dog is a smaller breed and is not a puller, but I don’t see this collar being insecure at all, and other reviews here have also commented upon its sturdiness and reliability.The padded surface is comfortable and the reflective strips are easily visible at night, giving another degree of safety and security to both you and your canine friends. As far as I am concerned the sizing was perfect for my smallish dog, and the chart of sizes and the necks they are designed to fit included in the product description is accurate.Just as an aside, when I showed the new collar to my dog, he got quite excited and was evidently very pleased to have received a new piece of doggie bling to wear around the neighborhood. So that’s another stamp of approval to consider in your decision making. 🙂 Evidently dogs and cats can see COLOR, just not in the same way that humans do, so another benefit of this product is that it comes in 9 different colour options, making it easy to please the most discerning of tastes. :-)The bottom line is that this is a premium product with a load of features from a company with a history of producing quality products, and I’m confident that both you and your 4 footed friends will appreciate it.I will mention however, that the quality here doesn’t come cheap in large part due to the unique aluminum attachment system and this is a little more pricy than other available options using a more standard buckle system.
