Picky pooches didn’t like it
I love the idea of this food, but my Great Dane wouldn’t touch it, even my beagle who is not picky does not like it. I also find that it is expensive to exclusively feed a large dog. I had hoped to use it for training treats and toppers for my picky Dane, but no such luck. It is a good quality food, just, unfortunately, not for my dogs.

Raw dog food dogs want, at a price we can afford.
I switched my senior dog over to this and she loves it. Especially when I add warm water to it. The only negative is that the raw Chicken one sometimes comes to the house where most of the food has been crushed and turned into powder. Other than that my dog loves this and she seems to have more energy now after a month of being on the new raw food. Plus this doesn’t smell too bad either. I have tried other raw foods and they are just so expensive, this raw dog food price fit within my budget better. I will definitely keep getting this for my dog.

The Taste and Price are Right!
My little mutt (whom I adore) is very picky about food and while he may like it to begin with, after a while he turns his nose up and walks away or won’t try it in the first place. He loves this food. Ate the whole bowl at the first offering. So glad I found this – other raw freeze dried foods were costing me a fortune. The price on this is very good.

Now You See It; Now You Don’t 😀
My 3month old puppy was raised by the breeder on “raw”. I mean raw meat, chicken legs, thighs, turkey necks and such. Well, I pick up this bundle of joy and guess what? He hates kibble. No matter how much I pay for kibble.So, I decided to try this Primal product since it’smarketed as a freeze-dried raw dry food (kibble in the raw). Bingo. Pup absolutely loves it. I fill his bowl up and he gets after it. His bowl is empty a few minutes later. Hence “now you see it, now you don’t” in the title of this review.

Its hit or miss… It was a miss for us
My smaller dogs are usually not as picky but they will not eat it. My oldest dog is VERY picky and he ate the carrots out of his bowl (he loves carrots and green beans) so I mixed it in trying to get him to eat it. I purchased 2 bags of this thinking it would hold me until their normal food comes in. Well that was a mistake. On top of them not eating it I can’t return the unopened bag. For good reason I guess.
