A comfortable alternative to an eCollar (cone).
I purchased this surgical recovery suit for my 17 pound Pug/Maltese mix who is 9 years young.TLDR: Would purchase again and highly recommend. I strongly suggest getting two so that you have a backup for while one is being laundered.If you like details — here is more about our experience:Our little doggy had surgery to remove her spleen, perform a gastropexy, and a biopsy of her liver (she had a small splenic mass). Her incision was 6-8cm long on her abdomen, and recovery time is 10-14 days. That is a long time to wear a cone or an inflatable collar!We took the recovery suit to our vet the day of surgery, and they happily put it on her afterwards during post-op recovery/observation. They had no issues at all with it. It was simple, straightforward, and easy to put on.The suit has been a lifesaver! We feel it has had a calming effect on our dog. She seems to like having it on — like a security blanket.We practiced putting it on and taking it off prior to surgery to get her used to the garment. She wore it for a few hours each day for several days leading up to her procedure. It goes on easily and removes easily, even for a doggy who is recovering from major abdominal surgery! We have laundered it already, and it seems to be well-made. The fabric is soft and stretchy. It seems to be a comfortable fit (we are on day 5 today). The seams are solid and there doesn’t seem to be any pulling. Fits as indicated — we measured our girl and based on her measurements, she would need a Medium suit. It fits well. Snug in the right ways, but not too snug. Plenty of give in the fabric. I love the zipper for being able to get it over her head (on and off) more easily. Plus, as a dog with a scruffy coat, it helps to pull her hair less with a larger opening.Her incision has been kept clean and dry. There has been no issue with rubbing or chaffing on her legs, or her incision. She is not able to get the garment off herself, and she cannot get at her incision to lick or chew.Taking her outside to potty has been simple, too. We just unfasten the Velcro and refasten it in front of her back legs instead of around the back. No fussing to get it on/off. Very quick and easy. No messes and truly hassle-free.Very happy with our purchase!

I absolutely LOVE this surgery recovery suit and so did my pup! I ordered a size large and it fit my 35lbs golden doodle perfectly! It was a much better option that having my poor pup wear a cone! My pup had surgery on her stomach so the suit kept the area clean and covered! I have washed and dried it a few times now and it’s washed wonderfully! You do have to make sure to Velcro the leg straps or the fabric will snag while washing. It was very easy to put on my pup which is definitely a plus! It is durable but you have to make sure the Velcro doesn’t touch the fabric or it will cause snags in the fabric (this is my only tiny little issue with it). I think it was a great value and I’d definitely buy again! The suit is super functional and cute on my pup and even though her incision has healed I still put the suit on her! Highly recommend!

Great option for smaller/skinnier breeds !
Great material and actually properly fit our 5.96 lb Chi-Weenie ! We were really struggling with sizing and this one fit perfectly. Easy on and off, she was still able to go potty, soft and stretchy material and good quality velcro.

Worked well after spay
Worked great for my dog after her spay surgery. The cone was an absolute no way and the donut didn’t work well and she looked pretty uncomfortable with it on. She didn’t seem to have any interest in her incision site but the suit gave me peace of mind. Really soft and stretchy material. Was a bit smaller than anticipated based on the sizing guide. If it wasn’t so stretchy it would have been a bit too small, Even though she is within the size range listed. Even though it was a bit small in the chest and length, the belly area was nice and loose which was great so the incision could heal properly.

Cone-Free & Cute: Our Post-Op Pajama Picks
Looking for a cozy, cone-free way to help your pup recover after spay or neuter surgery? These were such an amazing onsie, the pups didn’t need a cone or a donut most of the time during the day. It deterred them from the surgical sites, and they were so comfortable and it made me rest easy knowing they were able to walk around without a cone.A dog onesie can be a game-changer—offering comfort, wound protection, and freedom of movement without the drama of the dreaded cone. These were so worth the money, size was very accurate, were able to be washed in the washer and dryer, and coverage was exceptional, the pups were able to use the restroom without issue.

Great for dog spay
Bought this for my 32lbs bernedoodle when getting spayed. It worked for the time being but it got lots of holes near the velcro. Fit her great though and was super cute, but unfortunately only lasted the 1.5 weeks.

Cute Shirt Solves My Dog’s Medical Issue
My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes. She has to wear a monitor and would manage to detach it. My vet suggested that I get a spay shirt. I bought this for my pup and it fits her perfectly. She weighs 14 lbs and the small fit her like a glove. Cute design as well!

Perfect for our dog’s spay surgery
These are a lifesaver for our dog’s spay surgery. Way better than the cone or donut!! We bought them a few days before her surgery to let her wear and get used to them. We took one to the vet the day of her surgery to wear home. Our pup is about 23 lbs and her back length is 19″ and chest is 21.5″ the large fit her almost perfectly. The belly on the suit is roomy so there’s no rubbing on her incision. She can’t reach the incision and neither can our other dog (but has made no attempt to try). The velcro attachment area is very nice as there’s no tail hole that can be uncomfortable for some dogs. No need to remove to potty (pee or poo) and the suit doesn’t get soiled when pottying at all!! Material is soft and doesn’t seem to bother her (other than the fact that she’d rather be wearing nothing haha). Zipper opens and closes very smoothly and is made of thicker plastic, which is more gentle and somewhat quiet. They wash up nicely, I hang to dry. We purchased two so when one is being washed, we have another ready to go. Highly recommend!!
