Scent so strong it could deadlift my house
I switched to sheets to cut down on plastic and simplify laundry. The recyclable paper box of these is compact, the sheets weigh next to nothing, and they dissolve fully in hot or cold water with no gooey residue. The plant-based, hypoallergenic formula is a huge plus.Two big caveats, though. First, the “ocean-fresh” scent is brutal right out of the package; intense enough to spark a migraine in under a minute. I have to tear sheets at arm’s length and stuff the box into a sealed bag immediately. Weirdly, none of that smell transfers to the clothes; they just smell faintly clean.Second, the dosage instructions are optimistic. For gym clothes or anything truly grimy, a half-sheet in a medium load barely cuts it. I need a full sheet for medium cycles with sweat-soaked activewear, and two whole sheets for a large, muddy load: double what the box claims. That shrinks the “up to 64 loads” promise fast if you wash athletic gear regularly.Bottom line: great for light, everyday washes and planet-conscious households, but scent-sensitive folks should brace themselves, and anyone with heavy soil will burn through sheets quicker than advertised.

Amazing cleaning power
With a small hobby farm with horses, pigs, chickens, and lots and lots of dogs we generate a large amount of really dirty laundry. I’ve been using Reef Sheets for about a month and a half now and I’m impressed with the cleaning ability. Neonatal kittens and puppies generate a lot more laundry than you would think. Add in a large pack of foster dogs and our cleaning needs are fairly large. Reef sheets, rose to the challenge, getting puppy blankets, potty pads, and muddy clothes, beautifully clean, bright and smelling fresh. I have been using a different brand of laundry sheet so I was familiar with the concept, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well these sheets perform. They were better than the sheets that I was using. I would highly recommend these. They leave your clothes, clean, and fresh smelling. I like the minimal environmental impact, as well as the ease of storage and use. My garbage cans are no longer full of big bulky soap containers, and I feel good about my decreased impact on the environment.

I’ve been using Reef Sheets for a month now. They dissolve completely in my HE washer—hot or cold water, no residue. One sheet per load (half for small ones).They clean well: got out grass stains from my kid’s clothes and red wine from a shirt. No harsh smell, just fresh. Convenient and effective laundry sheets, though fragrance may not be for everyone
These laundry sheets are very easy to use and work well overall. They dissolve cleanly in the wash without leaving any residue behind, and our clothes come out feeling fresh and clean, without any filmy texture. The sheets are pre-measured and come perforated, so you can easily tear off a half sheet if you don’t need a full one. That flexibility makes it simple to adjust based on the load size.Storage is also a big plus. These take up far less space than traditional liquid or powder detergents, and they cut down on waste since there’s no bulky container or messy measuring.The only downside is the fragrance. My wife mentioned that out of the similar laundry products we’ve tried, this scent is her least favorite. It’s not unpleasant, just not her top pick. Love love love this new product ! We bought both scents ( Reef Sheets & Death To Dirt ) and are very pleased with both the scent and cleaning ability . And the best part ? No more messes/drips and having to measure and pour the correct amount of laundry detergent needed . Simply pull a sheet out of the package , tear it in half on the precut line and throw it into your washing machine with your dirty clothes . We are never going back to our old laundry detergent . Money saver and no more mess- what’s not to like !

I don’t think these really had any scent at all. I put a full sheet in and noticed no scent. This was my first time using detergent sheets, I think I will stick to liquid from now on.I do lie how compact the box is though, so if your space is small it can be a good option. It does also clean the close well. Very easy to use and I would say decent quality other than the lack of scent.
