Great Food!
I have a Great Pyrenees and he is 1 year and 4 months. My vet recommended this food because the super high premium dog food I was giving him, for some reason was not working for him. I was giving him Fromm and even though the recommendation for his size and age said 4.5 cups a day, I was actually feeding him 6 cups and he was very underweight. I switched to Taste of the Wild and he got so sick I had to rush hi to the vet. Then the vet told me that actually a good food is the one that works, that nourishes the dog. For some dogs some brands are perfect for other those brands are horrible, but he put my dog under this one and OMG, what a big difference. He is finally gaining weight, he loves the food and he is happy and full of energy. Also his poop is pretty small for a dog his size. I am very happy with this food and so is my dog.

I love this dog food!
I have an 18 mo old Dane mix and this is by far the best food I have given him. I tried other brands of food and I hated all of them. His skin was dry and itchy and his fur dull and flat. He has no skin issues with Royal Canin and his coat is so shiny. He also eats less compared to other dog foods I tried. I started him on the Royal Canin for giant puppies then switched to the junior when he turned 18 months. He’s 110 lbs and seems to be finished growing.

The best
Every time we take our Dobermans to the vet and they ask us what we feed them, they always say “that is the best food there is, don’t change it.” Our dogs are so healthy. Their coats are beautiful, we get compliments on them all the time and people always ask us what we feed them. I’m 100% convinced we have fewer vet bills than most people because we feed them quality food. They don’t suffer from any allergies or skin issues like so many others do. I’m also subscribed to various animal news channels and have alerts set up anytime there is a food recall. To this date, I’ve never seen a recall with this food. It’s always Purina or Wild Blue or some other brand. I wouldn’t switch to those if you paid me.

GREAT FOOD! DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON
This is great food. HOWEVER… THIS IS THE 2nd bag(including replacement bag) of this food I have recieved with slits cut in the bag. Box packaging is fine. Bag states do not use if not vacuum packed..AND THE REPLACEMENT BAG CAN NOT BE RETURNED/REPLACED. SO NOW I HAVE TRASHED 2 BAGS OF FOOD **DUE TO AMAZON CUTTING BAG IN PACKAGING**. I’M OUT THE MONEY, AND HAVE HAD TO TRAVEL 50 MILES TO BUY THE FOOD TO FEED MY PUPPY! SO THIS 1 BAG OF FOOD HAD COST ME OVER $120 DOLLARS! ***** THIS IS GREAT FOOD!!!!!! *****DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON********

I have a 17 month old Cane Corso who is the pickiest eater and has always had explosive diarrhoea every week or two weeks without fail. He’s pretty skinny for a Cane Corso as a result of his pickiness. I started him int Diamonds naturals and would just manage his diarrhoea with flagyl once the diarrhoea starts as expected. Decided to try him with Victor and the same thing happened. He would sniff and just move away and diarrhoea was certain. Then I decided to try Royal Canin, and boy what a difference. I noticed immediately that it smelt better/fresher than Diamond and Victor. His appetite automatically increased as a result and he started to consume more food and drink more water, his poop for the first time is really solid and brown as it should be abs hasn’t been that way for many months. I’m incredibly surprised and happy about this and I think with this he will certainly gain some weight in no time and look like a real Corso. I will be sticking to Royal Canin for now as this is the first food my dog really likes.

Great Dane pup likes it
This is one of the few puppy foods you can feed to a Dane. We switched our puppy to this around the 9 month old mark and it’s definitely helped him build muscle and weight the correct way. We will switch him to the adult version around 2 as recommended. Great food for giant breeds and their special needs!
