Okay humans, real talk. Royal Canin XS was a fantastic starter kibble. Perfectly bite sized for my little jaws, crunchy enough to feel fancy, and packed with nutrients to get me through puppyhood. My coat? Shiny. Energy? Top notch.But here’s the thing… I’ve grown a bit picky. As soon as I tried other foods, this kibble became… whatever. Now, I only touch it if it’s jazzed up with a topper; think chicken, hard boiled eggs, carrots. Humans call it “mix-ins,” I call it necessities.Props to my mom for being on top of it; she’s already exploring raw options or even cooking from scratch to keep me happy and thriving.So, 4 stars. Still great for little pups starting out, but this picky pooch is all about the gourmet life now. 🐶✨

Perfect!
This is the perfect size for tiny pups. My 3 lb 3 month old morkie loved it he licked the bowl clean. I had tried nutrisource puppy but the kibbles were to big I had to crush it and hand feed him even then he didn’t seem interested. As soon as I added this to his bowl he ran to it and ate it all up! The x small size is just right! So glad I found something perfect in size and flavor for him 🙂 I highly recommend this puppy food!

Great food for tiny puppies!
This is my second time buying Royal Canin X-Small Puppy (2-10 months) 🐶✨ and it has been amazing. My puppy is only 3 months old and loves it. I have visited veterinarians and they all recommend this brand because it does not leave tartar on their teeth, so it prevents early tooth loss. I recommend them to all puppy moms. I also like that it supports his immune system and growth during these important puppy months. His digestion has been great since starting this food. Definitely recommend if you have an extra small breed puppy!

Great dog food
My pup loves this food, it’s soft and chewy. The ingredients are good. You can even use it for dog training since it’s tiny pieces of kibble.

Good choice
Good for puppy when they first get home. Before our pup gets proper training, we used it for him and it saved us a lot of time and energy to clean his pee mess. It is also comfortable for him and doesn’t cause diaper rashes.

Good nutritious puppy food. Right size kibble.
Good food brand but a little expensive. My breeder and vet said to use this brand for the first 6 months then if I wanted to switch go half and half for a bit before switch 100% to another brand. Puppy had a clean bill of health and good growth on her growth curve. The small kibble was the right size for a little itty bitty dog. I gave it 4 stars as it is 2 times the price of Purina Pro Plan for example.

The only food brand I buy for my fur baby is Royal Canin.It provides all of the essential nutrients she needs for her skin, coat and active lifestyle.The X-Small was just perfect for her tiny puppy teeth to chew. She is an Imperial Shih Tzu. (Teacup Shih Tzu)I have now switched her over to Royal Canin X-Small for adults under 5 lbs (lime green bag) because I fully trust this brand for my precious little girl. 🥰

I brought my puppy home at 7 weeks from a sketchy home and put her on this right away. She is now 7 months and thriving. She likes it. I will keep her on this til she’s 10 months. I noticed the price goes up considerably on Amazon for different ages so I may have to look elsewhere.
