We put this inside our outdoor cat dome and our cat stays cozy warm during the colder weather. It’s easy to wash and it”s soft. It has some thickness to it also which keeps it from becoming flat.

Its not fully silent, but my cats like it anyway
I chose this one because it said it was silent – it wouldn’t have the crinkle noise that has been so off-putting to my cats in the past. So I opened it, and it’s not silent. There is a mild crinkle sound when it is moved. But apparently its so quiet when my cats walk on it that they have taken to it well! It’s on top of the sofa and most of the time one of them chooses it over the other parts of the sofa, so seems like it feels good to them. The fleece cover is very soft and they love it, but it is not holding up well. It has multiple snags, it is shedding, and looks pretty bad after just a few weeks. So not sure if we’ll be purchasing again. But for now the cats like it!

I purchased a few different types of self-warming mats for feral cats. This one is the best. It’s thicker than the other mats which should provide more comfort and warmth.

Must have for any small pet owner
My cat absolutely love it!! Big enough for my cat to stretch out, soft to entice my cats to actually use it, and it’s washable. A must have for any cat or small dog owner. I place it in front of my door in the morning so my cats have the sun and watch the birds.

Deceptive product photo.
The picture says this is a cotton fill, granted the description says polyester. The picture shows a bed that appears to be 1.5-2” thick. Actual bed has a polyester fill of 1/4” topped by the reflective material with a thinner fill layer sewn on the underside. That being said, the non-skid bottom is the thin nylon, works for my 23 yo cat, would it easily with a younger cat or small dog. My cat took immediately to the outer covering and seems to enjoy it. Overall, I am disappointed that the pictures are deceptive, and the product received should have been 50% of the price paid. The fact that the reflective layer can be removed for washing is a huge bonus. Another note, the bed was shipped the evening it had been promised for delivery, so a 3 day delivery in actuality.

We live in a very old house. The kitchen is located over a crawl space with a dirt floor. Needless to say, it can be chilly. My two dachshunds have a very nice dog bed that they share and a couple of blankets that they burrow under. That being said, not until I used this mat on top of their bed can I say they are very warm and toasty. They settle down once the blanket is thrown over them and don’t move till morning. If you stick your hand in there with them, you would swear that the bed is plugged in with a heating element. My one girl is eleven and the other is a four year old from Texas, who loves heat. Good purchase to get us through the winter.

Great, easy to clean, doesn’t take up to much space

First thing I notice about this bed is how cheap the material is. Like, the cheapest soft dollar store material you can imagine. It’s very fluffy but it’s so thin that you can see the metallic material underneath it. On one hand yes it is soft and yes perhaps this thin base will let more heat reach the reflective material, but it also makes it more delicate and at risk for tearing. It seems fairly stretchy, but something to keep in mind since cats have claws and might like to chew as well.This bed is way more crinkly sounding than the other variations of this self warming mat, not as full on crinkly as the reflective sheets themselves but perhaps because of the thin fabric cover more sound gets through. Despite being fluffy it does have a bit of a matted look to it, not as pretty as other materials, but the cat loved how it felt instantly. She has been sleeping on it in her favourite cardboard bed for hours now, she looks quite happy.I’ve tried a few variants of this bed idea from another company and they all suffered from having way less filling than advertised. While this one isn’t packed full either the two mats are fluffy enough to work with eachother and make a much cushier mat for sleeping on. Because it can be opened by zipper it means you could always add more filling too, however nothing about this is looking waterproof. If you really can toss all of it into the wash and it survives the process though that would be ok.Though I have concerns about durability, this whole thing feels like I could have bought a version on Temu for next to nothing, so far it’s a hit with the cat. So long as she continues to like it and it doesn’t fall apart that’s a win.

My cat loves it! The material is soft and plush, making it a perfect spot for naps. I’ve noticed my cat prefers this bed over others now, and it’s also lightweight and easy to move around. Definitely a great bed for keeping pets warm and comfortable when the weather starts getting cooler!
