Works Great!!! But without hesitation. Wonāt regret it.
Donāt know if the 2025 batch of Soresto cat flea collars are especially effective but I have only seen 1 flea on my 2 cats from June 2025 to 8/26/25. That flea was on my catās stomach and it seemed to be sickly. Also as we advanced from May to June I noticed a spike in fleas on my cats. I could easily find 10 to 15 fleas on my cats bellies, ribs, and shoulders. The next day Iād find another 10 or 15 fleas. Within 24 hours of putting the Soresto Flea Collar, I was unable to find additional fleas except for a sickly half dead one in early August. This is the best flea product ever.

Cheaper than topicals and work a lot longer!
We’ve been using these for years and it never disappoints.Never a flea or tick on any of our pets.Works more than 8 months, and that is only because I forget to change the collars, so they have lasted a year for us.Yes, expensive to purchase at first, but in the long run, it is cheaper than topicals!

We love it, the cat loves it, A WINNER!
This is a total game changer from the liquid flea vials you have to squirt on the back of your cat’s neck (i.e., flea poison). My cat absolutely hated that stuff, it was super expensive and it wasn’t effective! The Seresto collar is easy to put on, it stays on, and it works for 8 months. It’s a little pricey, but a cost savings in the long run compared to the flea poison. This is my third purchase of this product and I will continue to buy.

Highly recommended
I will save it for the time that I was using it. This is a good color to have, I have now switched to a Vet product that covers more than what the collar can. But they were impressed because this does a good amount of coverage for just over-the-counter. I recommend these to anyone who is trying to protect their outdoor kitty from fleas. That is what I got it for. This is worth it. While my cat very first usage did have a reaction, after a few days, there was no longer any problems as she got used to it. The durability of it is good, the ease of use is simple as well as removal. I did not really notice a smell or if there was it did not bother me. I cannot attest to tick resistance as we do not have ticks in my area. Even though I am switching to a different product this will always be my back up choice.

collar works well
My x-wife has 50 cats. They and the whole house were infested, cats scratching and exhibiting open sores. Thousands of white eggs all over everything. I ordered 60 collars. She put a collar on every cat and within a week all the fleas were gone. The collar acts as a flea trap as any and every flea that jumps from the carpet onto the cat is killed. The cats and the house are flea free and will be for 8 months. Fabulous product!

IT WORKS!!!
If you know anything at all about house cats, you know theyāre full of tenacity, and audacity. Once your indoor cat gets a taste of the outdoors, itās just about impawsible to keep them from wanting to be outside all the time! Thatās what happened with my cat The Baroness Meowtilda Von Softiepaws (street name: Tilly). Tilly slipped out the back door when I opened it to let my smelly little dogs out. Of course I freaked out thinking sheād run away and Iād never see her again. But Tilly stayed in the back yard and came inside after a few minutes. I vowed to never let her out again. But 1) sheās a cat with quintessential cat-like reflexes and is better than I am on her worst day, when Iām on my best day. 2) The audacity I mentioned earlier is STRONG in her 3) she DOES NOT like to be picked up/held, or confined in any way, and I value the use of my hands. Sheās never been aggressive with me, but I prefer not to make too many waves. So keeping her from slipping outside from time to time was not a job for which I am well equipped. Over time I got more comfortable with it since Tilly always stayed close to the house, and was always in the house over night. She has never been injured on her excursions. Then, we had a big problem. Remember the smelly little dogs? Well they suddenly became smelly AND itchy! And thatās when I saw it. The dreaded flea infestation. The dogs are treated for fleas and ticks, so that meant the harbinger of the plague was feline, in species. Now imagine gentle reader, if Tilly is not the type of cat to allow cuddling, what are the chances sheās the type of cat to allow herself to be bathed with flea soap? Nil. The answer is, nil.Several essential oils sprays, and flea combing sessions later- I had finally eradicated the infestation. Unfortunately Tilly developed some harsh looking ulcers on her skin which the vet advised was due to an allergy related to the flea bites. I felt awful, but I got her ulcers treated and cleared up quickly (thankfully, because they were shocking to look at and I doubt they were comfortable). My vet recommended the Soresto Flea and Tick Collar for several reasons. She said 1) it works, 2) itās made for cats and dogs, 3) it lasts for up 8 l months. She did say āitās one of the pricier optionsā¦ā but she swore by its effectiveness, and said it was worth it the price. Of course this had my anxiety riddled brain thinking these collars cost enough to make me have to decide between purchasing one, or paying my mortgage. Turns out the collars are about $68, and since theyāre supposed to last 8 months, that breaks down to about $8.50/month, or ~.28/ day! So I bought one and decided to give it a try. If it didnāt work, Iād know for the future and I would try something else.Well, guess what? IT WORKS!There is no chemical scent to it, itās made of a flexible rubber type material, and itās adjustable. I thought Iād have to fight with Tilly to get the collar on her (she prefers to go au naturale), but since the collar is adjustable with a lot of extra length, it was really easy to slip it on her neck and then pull it to tighten it. It helps to have a lickable treat at the ready to occupy your cat, if theyāre resistant to being collared. The collar even comes with little plastic reflectors you can attach which is great if your cat goes out in the evenings at all. Tilly scratched at her neck and the collar for the first day or so, but then she accepted it, and now I donāt think she even notices it. I havenāt had a single flea or tick on ANY of my Fuzz Butts since using this collar, and we are going on 3 years. If I had one request, it would be for whoever is in charge to make this an item you can set up as a subscription, and automatically get a new collar every 8 months. I know I forgot to replaces Tillyās collar for about 10 months (and it still worked!), and I donāt want to take the chance of forgetting again. For now I have a reminder on my phone, along with the reminder to change my air filter and to test my smoke alarms. But it would be much easier if I could get a new one automatically.Other than that- 10/10 recommend and your fuzz butts and sanity will love you for it!

Worked for One Cat, But Bad Reaction in Another
I had mixed results with the Seresto collar. It worked perfectly for one of my catsāno fleas, no ticks, no issues, and it was super convenient. However, my elderly cat had a severe allergic reaction. Within days, he lost fur around his neck, developed scabs, and seemed very uncomfortable. I had to remove it immediately and treat the area. While it might be effective, I definitely wouldnāt recommend it for older or sensitive cats. Please use caution and monitor your pet closely if you try it. No smell though and easily put on them both.

Does not ward off ticks only a flea collar, not even sure if itās genuine
