SF Aquatic™ 20 Mix Neocaridina High Grade Shrimp THUMBS UP!
After a lot of research and reading reviews I choose SF Aquatics I’m very glad it did. First because solid verified 4 and 5 star reviews, here, Yelp and other places. Second because they are close to where I live – delivery was fast less stress on the shrimp (all came alive), well packaged, clean water with insulation, with live fish printed exterior packaging. Happily all the shrimp are alive, appear healthy, active and nicely mixed in color and size. I’m a newbie with shrimp but not keeping tanks, years in bettas live tanks plants and snails with filtration. I just made another order of the same mix for my second tanks. Many Thanks to SF Aquatics. UPDATE: Order no.2 came in 3 days very happy again all alive good colors and age mix I’m very happy with purchase UPDATE 11/3/2025 Order no. 3 All my shrimps are doing great, newest 20 mix arrived alive healthy, active and great color. 60 total in 3 tanks

Cute, happy, red red shrimp
These shrimp are SO cute. Mine arrived alive (yay!), happy, and were very excited to zoom around their new home. They adjusted really well, appeared healthy, and have all been thriving in the weeks since they arrived.I’d also like to say that they were shipped in great packing materials that kept them at a safe temperature. Thanks for taking care of these critters!

Great price with great quality
Purchased the 20-bundle of Fire Shrimp. I received 20 Fire Shrimp plus about 5 shrimplets. Out of the 20 adults, only one male was around 3/10 quality. By day 3, I lost two shrimp, most likely due to transit stress. One died in my breeding tank and the other in the main tank on the same day.I ordered on Saturday and it arrived Tuesday, even though the expected delivery was Thursday, so shipping was extremely fast. The bag was vacuum-sealed and secured. About 19 out of the 20 shrimp were easily 8/10 in color quality, which is way better than anything I’ve seen at local pet stores and at a fraction of the price.I was skeptical about buying shrimp on Amazon, but I can vouch for this seller any day. I’ll definitely be a returning customer. For reference, the seller was within about 200 miles of me, which likely helped the fast delivery.

Arrived way earlier than expected
I wasn’t expecting them to be delivered until the 14-16th. They came sometime this afternoon early evening, no heat pack and very cold. But all are alive and being acclimated now. I counted 2 extras. Saw at least 1 female with eggs. Some are lighter in color and others are dark, assuming stress induced and hoping I don’t lose any. They all look healthy otherwise. I only bring up the early delivery because I had planned to use a hanging specimen container (like the pet stores use when you buy fish) and a drip acclimation kit I purchased just for them…. Those don’t arrive until Sunday😑🫣, so I improvised. And am still waiting on all my plants that were just shipped today. Y’all jumped the line on me😅🥰 now time to check on water level in the popcorn bowl I’m using lolFrom a 5 star review to a 3 star back to a 5 star review, strictly due to customer service experience, read added info below.Edit: in talks now with seller. As of yesterday morning woke up to all but maybe 2-3 shrimp eaten, I was worried about that because my plants were scheduled to arrive on the 10th (today) as such since the shrimp arrived a full week earlier than expected, my catfish got a great majority, maybe even my angels. They stated they have no responsibility for the CARELESSNESS of the customer as they did everything to ensure live arrival. If my tank had my plants that it does now and I lost the shrimp, fine that’s on me and nothing more I could really do to prevent; however, since they arrived so early, with no warning, they’re dead. I first asked if it was possible for replacements, obviously they made it clear ‘no’ by stating it was my CARELESSNESS. I then messaged back, told them that was a rude statement, and if they had bothered to alert the customer that they would be shipping so early to ensure someone was home or if the customer preferred to wait til the original contracted date, they could use that argument. However, since they did not they should hold responsibility. I chose their shrimp because it was the one with the latest delivery date and my plants were going to be here (along with acclimation kit) 3-4 days prior to the original date for the shrimp, so now I’m asking for refund minus the 2-3 shrimp that still live. I’m waiting for the reply for that message but am not holding my breath. Video of shrimp (great quality) first pic is of tank before plants, last is with plants and all the extra hiding areas available due to the plants. If all else fails, will be contacting Amazon customer support. Right now I feel like this was a waste of $40.Edit2: They got back to me, going to do a full refund, told them I appreciate them working with me, and told them I would get more shrimp from them again because they were phenomenal on the packing and care of the shrimp. I’m hoping that out of the 2-3 they survived (which I may now be down to 1, or they are only coming out one at a time) I have still have the female that was laden with eggs and that if they hatch the babies (not all but some) survive. But I’ll definitely order from them again!

Perfect!
They all came alive and healthy! All the ones I got were different colors only duplicate were two red ones! And two of them look like they are pregnant! Excited to see how they do in my tank after I drip acclimate them!

Cool tank addition
Cool colors… I believe there was 20ish in the bag 3 arrived dead but plenty more left… very small so unsure if they will survive not getting eaten by the fish but guess we will see.

First purchase was perfect, but second purchase only received 15 with 2 dead
Ordered these on October 20 2025 and received them on October 25 2025 they were a day late, but that was because of USPS I ordered a 20 mix and received 22 all were alive and well are still doing great. Haven’t been able to see if they’re all still alive because they can hide so easily, but they seem to be doing great some of them have already malted don’t see babies yet. It’s only been a little over a month. I just placed another order for another 20 mix I was going to place an order for the 20 blue dream, but it says that they have it unavailable I’m hoping to get some blue dream shrimps in my 20 mix but I didn’t get any parasites or any sick shrimp as well**Update** December 4 my second shipment arrived and I was actually very sad. I had to change my review to a three I would give it a two but I was able to get refunded by Amazon. My second shipment arrived two days late because of usps in resulting 2 deaths, but the reason why I’m really upset is I only received 15 instead of 20+ the 2 extra so that leaves me with 13 shrimp alive and 2 dead. The water was also very brown and smelled bad. Nothing like my first purchase really upset wanna place another order but I’m afraid it’s gonna end up the same I’m gonna give it one more chance hopefully, the third order does not end up like the second order
