“Kirby Style” – Vacuum Massage Cup …
4.5 starsNice vacuum brush – pet / hair specific for best results.A 2 piece – hard plastic body with a silicone brush insert / massager (OEM Kirby tool is 1 piece – hard plastic bristles / massager). Pet may resist at first – but ours eventually enjoys the grooming / massage. Nice size – attachment angle can be a bit awkward.For our Border Collie: this brush works pretty well – but careful use of the vacuum’s crevice tool seems best of all ….NOTE: we use a basic Miele Canister Vac – it is relatively quiet + 6 position power / suction setting switch – which allows the animal to get use to the vacuum sound on the lowest setting – before gradually increasing to position 3 or 4. Great, just clean the bristles every few minutes
I’ll be honest and say I didn’t get this for pet fur. I use it to vacuum fox and beaver fur for crafting blankets and coats. It helps to suck out a lot of the excess chromium salt dust and stray dead hair. It also is useful to fluff out pelts to make the fur fluffy and bouncy.

Not bad, better than the Bissell
Easy to use, seems to work okay. A better brush than the Bissell if you HAVE to brush in the house and hook up to the vacuum. But, not as effective as one of the dedicated shedding brushes like the Furminator, etc. It might not attach to your vacuum without a coupler. if your hose isn’t the same diameter as a ShopVac hose, you might have a problem. It seems the ID of this attachment is 1 1/4 inch, so the OD of your hose going into it will need to be 1 3/8.

Best thing we’ve bought for Great Pyrenees
We needed something to lift and comb through his dense fine hair. We’ve used many different types of brushes from PetSmart etc. This is for if you’re looking to deshed your dog quickly just to get excess fur off. Of course it did not do a complete deshed at least not for our dog because his hair is constantly shedding every single day! This is expected because of the breed he is. I’m sure it would work well for a husky too or similar. We have cats and multiple dogs in and out of our home. Good purchase. Plus it’s like a massage for him. He stretched his arms in the air as soon as he felt the teeth from the attachment. He enjoys it greatly. As you can see from video we’re using a Milwaukee portable vacuum with a standard hose size, it fits perfectly. Make sure you buy it corresponding to what you’ll attach it to. We own a Kirby so we couldn’t connect to a real vacuum, and I’m positive you’re going to see better results w one. And I’m confident the attachment will connect to a standard vacuum. Hope I helped some way!

Not good for German Shepherd Dogs
I tried this on my German Shepherd Dog. It didn’t remove much hair, and what it did remove got tangled in the plastic teeth – never making it to the vacuum. While it may work well on dogs with shorter hair, and a single coat, on GSD’s, mine at least, it was a bust. Much more hair is removed by using one of the grooming combs, like the DakPets, or similar. One short session with one of the combs gets enough hair out of his coat to fill a small pillow. It’s a nuisance to use, though, as each stroke through the coat yields enough hair that you have to stop, and remove the shed hair before the next stroke. But, it does a much better job than the Shop-Vac tool.

Didn’t really work on our Rottweiler
We have a Rottweiler who sheds like a demon year-round, and keeping him neat is a full-time job, so we’re always looking for ways to make it more efficient. This brush was not it, unfortunately.The *idea* of this brush is great, and I bought a long extension hose so that the shop vac stayed behind a door, so he wasn’t too scared of the process, and actually enjoyed it once he got used to it. However, it simply did not remove any significant amount of his loose hair. For example, I used this brush to go down the top of his back about a dozen times, then ran a brush through it. The brush came out fully clogged with hair.I ended up grooming him the old fashioned way, which is to use our old wooden bristle brush to brush him, and using the shop vac to clean out the brush every 5-10 strokes because it’s clogged with hair.This brush might work on a dog with super-short hair or who sheds very little, but for our medium-coated shedding machine it essentially did nothing.

El producto es tal cual se muestra en las fotos.Le quedó muy bien a mi aspiradora, el material es de plástico semirígido, tiene un poco de flexibilidad, lo que hace que entre bien en la boquilla de la aspiradora y no es duro para el gato.A mi gato le gusta que lo cepille, lo disgruta, pero el ruido de la aspiradora lo asusta, es algo que debn considerar.La compra me fue bien y el envío super rápido, la razón por la que doy esta calificación es que no recolecta muy bien lo pelos del gato, si le quita, pero yo esperaba mucho más, veo mejores resultados con el cepillo normal que tengo (para humano), aunque si le quita algo de pelaje y la ventaja es que se van directo al filtro de la aspiradora.
