Great harness for large, energetic & reactive dogs!
UPDATE as of 07/15/23:The harness has still been great. However, over time while using the harness our dog has learned to shimmy her way out of it when trying especially hard while reacting towards other dogs or squirrels.Since she is an Australian Cattle Dog/Mix that is medium sized (50 pounds) but very broad chested due to her breed, we were unable to tighten the straps further than we originally needed.Since we loved the harness but needed it just a bit more snug, we purchased the Medium size as well and it’s been absolutely perfect! The Large size is now used as a back-up and travel harness in case anything happens to the Medium one she wears daily while we’re out of the house or traveling.It helps give us peace of mind having an extra one when we’re out in the country camping too, in case of any accidents or harness-breaks.Original Review:We recently traveled to a shelter and adopted an abused & stray, 2 y.o. Australian Cattle Dog/Mix who we soon realized was afraid of loud vehicles and traffic. She also has high reactivity towards dogs and small animals she wants to chase.Between taking her outside for potty & walks and working on training, we needed a STRONG, reliable and safe no-choke harness. She is 50 pounds of pure muscle and excitement, but so far this harness has been great for us!The heavy-duty metal “D-like” rings on this for leash attachments ensure no possibility of the rings snapping from pulling too much (unlike a lot of other brands). One of the metal rings is in the front of the harness for bicycle riding and other exercise with them, and the second clip being on their back (in front of the sturdy grab-handle), for regular walks and other activities. Plus, we really like the reflective strips on the harness for night-walks and of course I adore that we could get her a beautiful matching light/baby pink harness to match her collar!All around, I couldn’t recommend this product enough for ANY dog owner, regardless of breed or size. Safety is most important for our fur babies and everyone else’s (along with humans and property, haha) and this should ensure your dog is safe and under your control if needed, even if they are energetic or pull-hard when excited!

Perfect for my large dogs
I have two gorgeous rescue dogs . One is a 1/2 Yellow Lab,1/2 Husky and the other is a Shepherd/Cur mix. Both over 60 lbs and very playful and strong. The shelter gave us two so called harnesses that were nothing more than a rope with some sort of rubber stopper that you’re supposed to lace around their necks and waist. Those went in the trash on day one. My two escape artists also figured out how to do a Houdini act and escape from other brands of harnesses, some costing twice as much as this. My ‘puppies’ needed something more secure yet comfortable for their walks. I looked at many harnesses and found these, figuring they looked good and secure yet won’t cause any pain if they pull hard. This harness is absolutely perfect. Escape proof, soft against their fur, breathable mesh on the chest area, 2 places to hook a leash ( front and top) and a good secure ‘handle’ on top for more control. The stitching is well done, all the hardware seems to be good quality and the reflective stitching is a bonus, although I don’t walk them in the dark, but nice to have. I ordered two of these, but they somehow got separated in the warehouse, so one came today, and the other is supposed to come tomorrow. However, both dogs are the same size, and the fit is perfect on both, so they’ll have to wait one more day to model their new outfits to the neighbors. The sizing chart seems very accurate, as I measured both dogs before ordering, and the large fits both of them, even though one dog has slightly less girth than the other. Both fall within the ‘large size’ as shown on the site. All in all, a very good harness at a good price. Very pleased with this and I would order the same ones again if ( when) I get a third doggie.

Perfect harness for a dog with Wobblers Syndrome
This dog harness is amazing. By far the best one I have ever tried.I have a 6yr old Doberman with Wobblers Syndrome. He has a very deep chest with narrow shoulders. In the past I have never been able to find a harness that fits him properly, they are usually too loose around the shoulder or too tight around the chest. This harness does not have those problems. It’s easy to adjust to his proportions.The other thing about this harness that makes it stand out above the rest is how easy it is to put on. There is no confusion about how to put it on, or which way is up. It takes me two seconds to put on him.The best features of this harness is the handle on the back. This handle allows me to help my dog with stability, or help him stand if he is having trouble getting traction. The handle is great for walks if your dog likes to pull on the leash or if you need to keep your dog at your side.The entire harness is very well made, and very sturdy. The metal leash attachment point on the back and chest of the harness is very thick and sturdy. My dog seems very happy with this harness, he even sleeps in it.Because my Doberman has Wobblers Syndrome he cannot have a leash attached to a collar so this harness is a must for walks. The handle on the top allows us to provide on the spot support for our dog to help him stand or walk as needed. Because of this he wears the harness all day long and I honestly view it as a medical device for him as it benefits his quality of life so much.15/10 Recommend. I will never be buying a different dog harness ever again.
