Handy little trash can!
I actually really like this little can!I purchased this mini trash can to use for disposing of cat litter, and it has worked well for that purpose. The compact size makes it easy to keep near the litter box without taking up much space, and the lid helps contain odors to a reasonable degree. Itās lightweight and easy to empty, which is convenient for daily cleanings. However, because itās small (maybe a gallon), it does fill up quickly if you have multiple cats or go more than a couple of days without emptying it. The build quality is decent for the price, though not heavy-duty, so itās best suited for light use. Overall, itās a practical and affordable solution for small litter clean-up needs, but those looking for maximum odor control or larger capacity may want to consider a bigger, more specialized container.

Great for cat litter
I have 5 100% indoor cats, so have multiple boxes to scoop daily. This is perfect for that task. The rim keeps the bag secure, so it doesn’t fall in, the opening is big enough for the scoop but the overall bucket is small enough to conveniently carry, and the handle and lid are perfect for going from room to room. At first I thought it might be too small, but it really holds a lot and is great for standard small trash bags. I just tie the bag when I’m done and use the bucket to carry out to the trash. The lid keeps the odor in and visually its unobtrusive. At first I thought it was a bit pricey, but its so perfect for the task its totally worth it. If you only have one or two cats this would be a great alternative to a litter locker.

Works fine, but with some caveats
What we like: Unlike some reviewers, we use this for little bin for our compost, not for pet waste. For composting, we line the bin with newspaper, which helps alleviate odors, and makes dumping the compost much easier. We do not use “compostable” plastic bags, since those only compost in regular garbage, not in compost bins. Plastic is plastic no matter how easily it breaks down. Lastly, its a good size for our family. Small enough to require that we empty it every few days, so that odors don’t build up. What we don’t like: We find that the plastic hanger included with the bin for hanging on a cabinet door is really flimsy. It comes away from the bin when the bin has a little weight in it, and wants to detach when you lift the bin off the cabinet door. I’m so worried about losing it in the compost pile, that we don’t use it anymore. I can’t evaluate the stick-on hanger because we don’t use it. No place to stick it that wouldn’t be in the way. So, good bin, needs a better hanging system, so far not smelly.

Great little compost/scrap bin
I considered buying this for awhile, before I finally went through with it. (I had a hard time justifying it, as I was already using an ice cream bucket on my counter as a scrap food bucket. However, I was really wanting something that could hang on the cabinet door, right under my kitchen sink. So that’s what persuaded me to buy it.)It works great. I cannot vouch for the wall mount or lid, as I keep the lid off and chose to use the over-the-door installation. And I can say it was worth the purchase! Now, not only are my countertops clear, my young kids can easily scrape their plates off themselves, which helps keep our drain clear.It’s easy to install, easy to remove to empty and clean, is made of sturdy plastic, holds a lot of scraps, looks nicer than an old coffee can or ice cream bucket, and the handle is convenient when I’m tossing the scraps to my chickens.

Use to Scoop Litter Box, Sturdy and Well Made.
So I actually use this to scoop the litter box. I put in a clean bag and this is small/wide enough to let me scoop then I immediately discard the bag. So I can’t speak to how well it seals/odor locking powers. I hated having to travel to the toilet to scoop the box so this works perfectly. The lid seals on well and it has a hard plastic piece that you can slide over the bag and lock in, then the lid attaches to that. I think if this was twice as big, I would use it for it’s intended purposes. As it is, a standard plastic grocery bag is too big for this, if that gives you an idea for how small.

Great for kitty litter scooping between trash days!
I use this to hold poop bags after scooping the litter box. It is the perfect size and the top lid seals to keep any odors out of my house.

Really Impressed
A VERY good receptacle. I use it in my RV. It is SO secure, up off the floor and the perfect size. Lid fits very snuggly when a bag is in it and the top rim is set, I can easily see how it could be an “odor-free” receptacle.
