Best harness ever
5 plus stars. I have bought every kind of cat harness. I have a big grey boy who loves to go out but he is an escape artist. It is so easy to put on and stays on. I highly recommend it. I just bought a pink one for my little princess 👑 my orange girl is my Velcro cat and will not allow anything touching her except me 😊

Sparkly Quality Step In Harness with Matching Leash is a Winner!
I have two pugs of my own plus have fostered many rescue pups during my 20 years of volunteering for our local rescue. I currently have a foster with a congenital spine defect that hinders his hind legs’ mobility. I’ve purchased my fair share of harnesses in my day, but it seems I’m always in need of a new one for one of my pets. And so I am now – in need of a harness for my new foster. When I saw this nice Sparkly Dog Harness and Leash by SOLMOONY, I decided to order it for my foster baby, even though I didn’t have him yet.Made of a sparkly mesh nylon fabric, the harness is breathable, lightweight and comfortable. It’s also a ‘no pull’ design which is very important since pugs are notorious escape artists when it comes to their harnesses! It seems pretty durable, yet light enough that it won’t overheat my foster in the spring warmth here in the Southwest. The leash is 5 feet, which is a bit short but I never let my pup get too far away from me anyway. And the harness is also a ‘step in/step out’ style which makes it much easier to put on my less than cooperative pug. It has a Velcro closure, plus a double ‘D’ ring and buckle to help secure my pup in his harness. It tops off its safety measures with a bright, reflective trim on the harness to provide visibility during early evening walks.The harness is machine washable which I always need, since my pup tends to attack his food – it can get messy!This high quality harness (and leash) comes in 6 different sizes, from XXXS to L. It’s definitely for smaller pups so it’s important to always measure your dog and choose the size based on the convenient size chart provided. I learned that lesson the hard way. It also comes in 6 nice colors so there’s one sure to please each fussy pup. I ordered my foster a size large in purple but, unfortunately, it’s a bit too big. That’s on me for ordering before I actually measured him (he hadn’t yet arrived in my home) but, luckily, it fits my own larger pug perfectly!As of the date of this review (4/8/26), this size large sparkly harness and leash set by SOLMOONY is priced at a really reasonable $13.99 (the other sizes range in price from $8.99 to $12.99). You can’t beat that price for such a nice quality, well designed harness. I’m rating this set a well deserved 5 stars and I tend to re-order it in my foster baby – in his correct size – after I measure him!

This dog harness is great. I have a mini jack Russel and she’s difficult to put a harness on because she won’t stay still. But with this harness it was a breeze, it’s velcro with one buckle making it super easy to get it on her before she jumps out of the way lol. This harness is made from excellent quality materials that are strong and durable yet light and easy to use and easy to clean. It fits her perfectly and looks great. Once I get it on her she doesn’t mind wearing it, she doesn’t bite at it or try to get out of it meaning it’s comfortable and doesn’t bother her. I also love the color purple so this looks great on her. I also like that a matching lead is included and the price is perfect because you can’t get this good quality with matching lead and a box store without paying much more.

Size is right
I’ve tried a few harnesses for my small dog, and many of them just didn’t fit quite right. The one I had before always felt a little too big, which made walks a bit stressful because I was worried she might slip out. The extra small option with this harness fits her perfectly, and that alone made a huge difference.The harness itself is well made, lightweight, and comfortable. The padded material seems gentle on her, and it doesn’t rub or irritate her when we’re out walking. I also really like the reflective trim, which is great for evening walks. The velcro holds is solid & secure.It was easy to put on and adjust, and the included leash is a nice bonus. Most importantly, knowing she’s snug in a harness that actually fits her properly gives me peace of mind.While I can’t attest to all the sizes I can assure you that if you have a small dog and struggle to find a harness that fits just right, the extra small size on this one is definitely worth checking out. Great fit and great peace of mind on walks!

Not Suitable for Large Dogs
This harness set did not work at all for my dogs. I specifically ordered the large size expecting it to be appropriate for larger breeds, but it was far too small to even get onto either my shepherd or my husky.The clasp also doesn’t seem designed for a strong or large dog. It feels lightweight and not something I would trust for a bigger breed. The leash is also extremely small and thin, almost comically so, and definitely not what you’d expect for a harness marketed for medium to large dogs.Unfortunately, neither of my dogs could use this because they simply couldn’t fit into it. If you actually have a large dog, this likely won’t meet your needs. Photos added- used a small protein shake to offer size reference. Again this is size Large.

Not suited for a very small pet
Vest seems to be a good material and looks like the picture, but the connection straps where the leash attaches doesn’t adjust down enough. Makes the leash flop around and it was distressing to my pet
