Best crate ever!
I board dogs and needed another jumbo sized crate. This one is FAR better than the other 5 I own. The latching door handle is excellent and easy to use, one handed. The crate is a slightly different shape than my other PetMate crates, making it more comfortable and spacious for my boarders. Typically I host Labs and Goldens and the crate is large enough for a comfy crate mat with room in front of it for their food & water.I almost returned it before I opened it – I needed it for the extra Christmas boarders I had and because Amazon’s order picker sent me a DRUM SET instead, the replacement crate (shipped fast, thanks, Amazon!) arrived when I no longer needed it. SO glad I opened the box – I may replace all my other crates with this brand!

The ONLY crate to buy for international travel XXXL
This is the only crate to buy for international travel if your dog is the size that it houses. My husky mix is 65lbs and you would think he would be fine in an XXL. He certainly can fit in an XXL. However, all airlines now require dogs in cargo to have 3” approx above their erect ears and other measurements to do with length. They all vary a bit – you have to check – but just because your dog can get in a crate doesn’t mean they will accept it. If you have a Great Dane then forget it – you’re going to have to custom build a crate in wood.So rest assured – if your dog meets the size requirements then this crate meets the airlines/cargo’s.Plus points to this crate above others (I’ve had them all on Amazon)1- wheels for transport to and from the cargo. Brilliant and easy to take on and off. A game changer in the car park and various terminals.2. Metal bolts included3. Great latch.4. Well made5. Good enough packagingYou will need to buy the sport pet feeders with outside access to water. And some pee pads. They don’t allow a blanket or puffy pillow or toys. Pee pads is it.Allow plenty of time for delivery. This is something that you need to order 4 weeks before because there is a high chance it will be delayed. Don’t risk it!! I had to order 3 and only one came! Amazon prime is your security – return the back up(s)And please make sure you read carefully who is actually sending/selling it. Some sellers may not even be in the US! Some maybe the other side of the country. Don’t risk one coming from Puerto Rico or even Europe! Read the small print! The closer you can buy this crate from the less likely it is to be damaged or late.Best of luck with your travels! You have to accept the insane high price compared to the XXL – maybe you will get lucky and find it on sale but don’t risk a cheap price for a longer journey! But do know – as far as I can tell you – that this case is accepted by the airlines. I have taken my dog from the US to Dublin and to London.Best of luck!

Best price and quality
Perfect flight kennel. My huge chocolate lab with 85 pounds loved it. He traveled to another country with large space and comfortable

Nice heavy duty and roomy.
Really nice heavy duty, roomy crate. Super easy to set up with double system connectors, flip on latches and wing nut screws. Haven’t installed the wheels because I don’t need them but they look heavy duty as well as smooth rolling. Very happy with it.

Great kennel, crappy wheels
So bit of back story—got this for our big boy to travel to Japan with us. The kennel it self came with EVERYTHING you may need (bolts/screws —with spares!!—, wheels, door, instructions, airline approval spare screws). It is perfect for flying domestically—will update on trip to Japan afterwards—Very easy to open with locking system. Would definitely recommend.CONS: the wheel broke after ONE use. This is probably the biggest pet peeve because that was part of why I personally picked this one. For weight idea my boy is 63lbs. Him with the kennel weighed 96 according to their(Alaska air) weigh. I would think it would be better wheel to support him during this flight.

Solid kennel. With a crate pad, my dog sleeps very well at night.

Really bad quality
I put the dog in and took a short trip to check how the dog would fit. He didn’t adapt and kept biting himself, according to the vet because it was too tight for him.

Perfect for 40 inch long dog – Air France – US to France
I bought the 48 inch crate for my 84 pound chocolate lab for an Air France flight Washington DC to Paris. It was accepted with no discussion. It has all that was asked, I just had to remove the wheels which are super easy to place and remove as they slide in (don’t push them all the way). Holes present for zip ties placing.I was scared of the door mechanism but in the end it worked perfectly. My dog is 40 inch long, the crate was the great size for her comfort. She could lay down and sit upright. Plus he crate made it undamaged which I guess is probably a combination of good material but also careful handling by airport personnel.Full metal bolts and Additional bolts were included just in case which is appreciated.

Nothing to complain about
Jolene Johnson –
This crate is not durable. IT is horrific broke and now need to buy a new one. Where the metal goes on the side my dog chewed it within minutes, and the plastic broke. She was not in the crate long. And she is crate trained.

Actually quite large, i could have ordered the XL and had plenty of room. Excellent quality.
