Customers say

Customers find the crate folds easily and is lightweight, making it easy to carry with one hand and travel with. They appreciate its quality and versatility, with one customer noting it’s perfect for temporary crating for crate-trained dogs. The size receives mixed feedback – while it works well for 40-50 lb dogs, some find it too small for larger breeds. Durability is also mixed, with some customers reporting it tears after two months of use.

This works way better than we thought!
My husband, child, and now dog travel and live out of our 4runner for over a month in the summer. This is our first year with our puppy (7 months) pointer terrier mix. She is a medium dog at 32 lbs and medium height. We got the large kennel for her to sleep in at night. It is cloth all the way through the body. I thought it would never work. She will chew her way out. Nope. Works perfect! She loves it! She begs to go to bed. We have a roof top tent and sleep up there. She sleeps in the kennel in the back seat. It pops up in seconds. Folds down small enough to put behind the shotgun seat. The doors are on both sides and maje it versatile. The doors are sturdy and easy to use. We got the large, and I am glad we did. She is very comfortable and can stretch her legs a little as she sleeps. This was a great price and purchase for our life on the road.

    Great travel/nightcrate for trained dogs
Update 10/09/16: it’s been another 4 months and my 1.5 year old has slept in this crate every night. One time she was pawing at it when I left her in it during the day and her claws put a small tear in the net part. I turned it upside down so it was at the top and I only put her in at night when she is ready to sleep. It’s been great. Still worth the money. I’ve packed it away and pulled it out many times. Quick and easy. I would definitely buy another if needed.Original Review 06/11/16: I have a 40 lb English field setter. She was crate trained from day 1. She loves tearing things apart and chewing her toys but rarely chews furniture or anything she isn’t supposed to. She stays in a metal crate by day when I’m at work but in this soft crate in my room at night. I like it because it contains her fur keeping it off the floor, it’s softer for her to sleep in since carpet is beneath it, and I LOVE how easily it pops out and stores away. I absolutely don’t think this would be a good daytime crate as any dog will paw at the floor and this would eventually tear. Also not good for very hyper dogs that try to claw or chew out. I’m so excited for the next time we travel I won’t have to disassemble that large metal crate. This one takes 15 seconds.

Perfect for temporary crating for a crate trained dog.
I love that it is light weight and I really love the door. It is like a standard crate and has a latch and a swinging door. The door, the weight and good air flow are my favorite features. It is easy to get your dog in and out. The height and length are good but it is a little narrower than a standard sized 36″ crate. However, my dog is very comfortable in crates and is fine with it. He just lies down on the side if he wants more side to side space. It pushes the side out and pulls the ends in a little but it doesn’t bother him. When he stands up, it pops back in to proper shape. The vent screens on each side and the back seem to let quite a bit of air flow through and the front gate lets a lot of air flow through. I would not use the Large sized crate for a long period of time for my 40 – 45 lb Aussies because it doesn’t have quite enough width but it is perfect for my Agility lessons.

The pop up kennel I’ve always wanted
This travel kennel is PERFECT. I’ve struggled with zip-screen pop up kennels for years. They are bulky to carry around, dogs destroy the plastic mesh, they are just not well designed. This kennel fixes all the problems, for a crate trained dog. I use the medium for my 45lb Australian Cattle Dog. I love the hard plastic and metal grate ends. This twists into a flat square and clips into place, so no need to keep track of a separate case. I suspect the plastic clips (that keep it twisted flat) may eventually break, but the rest of the kennel feels sturdy and well made.

    Wanted to love but no.
I got this to use as a travel crate for our upcoming week long vacation. I loved this crate when I pulled it out. It was light, compact, and easy to pull out and get back down. However after leaving my dog in this crate to start to get her used to it, it was falling apart within 4 hours of her being in it. My dog moves around in the crate and before we knew it not only was the crate turned over in a 180 (this part is my dogs fault as she is a nut), but the end half of it was completely collapsed. We can see the dog on the Blink camera and by the time my husband was home for his lunch break (about 5 hours after leaving for the day) the crate was completely broken and collapsed. As funny as it was to see her in there with it completely collapsed all around her, I’m pissed I wasted the $54 on it unable to return. My dog is 26 lbs for reference.

Very compact, light weight , and durable
Just bought a new Honda Ridgline, and other that putting my dog in the crate in the box of the pickup(wouldn’t do that), I had to figure out a way to keep dog in back seat of the crew cab. A wire crate won’t fit. This crate goes in the back unopened, and then I open it up once it’s situated on the floor. I love this thing and my 60 lb Bernadoodle fits in it with room to spare! Not sure how it would perform on a real long trip ???? Maybe someone can deal with that issue in another review? The material is of high quality.

    Decent, but a glaring issue
Perfect size for our 25 lb dog. Love that it’s collapsible (which is great because we can easily store it in our small house) and it’s easily transportable. The only issue that stands out is that it does not have a solid base at the bottom to keep it a bit more stationery. We went out to eat one evening and we left our dog in the crate, and we normally keep the crate in the utility room, however, because it did not have the solid base, our dog had literally dragged it from the utility room to another room of the house (while in it!). When we got home, we discovered how far he had been able to move it. A good buy if your dog is well-crate trained.

    Great truly portable lightweight crate
Great portable crate! I needed to keep my dog crated in the car, but could not fit the appropriate sized regular crate in through the car door. This was the perfect answer-I put it in the back seat folded, then release the catches and it pops up, just as advertised. The large is good for my 40-50 lb dogs. It could also be used as a nighttime crate for a dog who wasn’t prone to chewing or clawing its way out-I’ve used this in a hotel to contain a dog who wasn’t used to traveling. It’s so lightweight and folds so small it was easy to transfer back and forth from the car to the hotel. I’m very pleased with this crate.
