Great Litter Box
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’d read a lot of great things about stainless steel litter boxes. The appeals for me was that it doesn’t hold odor like the plastic ones do, and the aesthetic of the box.My cats didn’t have any trouble getting used to it and it’s super easy to keep clean. It even came with a scoop that is very sturdy. I would definitely buy this again and it’s good for multi-cat households. I wish it was maybe 2-3 inch wider, but it’s still pretty darn good.

AWESOME kitty poop pot
Got this today. Very light and easy to setup.It seems large but I think it’s because the sides are higher. He had no problem getting in and so far no litter on the ground.Also comes with a different scoop holder.Kitty wasn’t scare of it. I was wondering metal would bother him

We have always use plastic litter bins. I read the stainless bins are the best for litter boxes for many reasons. So while far more pricey than plastic, I liked the idea of less smell, no deep scratches in the plastic, and easier to clean. I am happy we switched. – The only issue we had is one of my two cats pees on one side of the box and poops on the other. So her pee, while it will clump with the only litter she accepts in her box (Dr. Elsey’s multi cat litter), it sticks to the bottom of this pan and has to be scraped. We scoop the litter daily, but she moves the litter before she goes so it is close to the bottom then she scrapes litter over it. So it tends to be hard to scrape off and kind of ruins the point of the clumping as it comes apart during this process. I decided to pour more litter in the bin than we usually do, pile it on more, and that is working a bit better because she has too much litter to move and not as much drips to the bottom before clumping. If that makes sense. My other cat is not as picky except she will pee on the opposite side as her sister, but it clumps fine as she doesn’t try to scrape all the litter over first. So if you have a cat like mine, it will work to load more litter into the bin. Either way, this is a great choice for a litter bin. I also love the accessories it comes with, the mat is nice if you have the space to use it the right way. The litter scoop is very nice with the holder also. I have never used a scoop like this, and I prefer it over the ones with the holes only. I highly recommend.

You guys, over my 20+ years of having cats, I have tried every type of litter box you can think of, especially when dealing with senior kitties who were struggling with potty habits (high sided, low sided, hooded, step in from the top, plastic, stainless, etc). No matter what, I always ended with some kind of problem (pee over the side, odor, litter everywhere). Well, I FINALLY found the last litter box I will ever need to buy.The base is stainless steel, which makes it easier to clean and more resistant to odor than plastic boxes (and more aesthetically pleasing, if that’s possible with a litter box). However, the biggest plus with this vs other boxes is the snap on lid with the side paneling. The difference is, this lid has a ring on the inside that is separate from the part that snaps onto the side of the box, so it creates a seal allowing the urine to stay INSIDE the box. Other boxes with a snap on lids don’t have that inner ring, so the urine gets stuck in the crease where the lid snaps onto the box, leaving a smelly, sticky, leaky mess. With this box design, the inner ring stops that problem and is a total game changer if you have kitties that pee high on the litter box walls.The front of the lid is designed to catch litter on the way out, and it comes with a litter mat to put under the box catch any litter that is kicked or tracked out. It has the kind of design with holes all over it so you can shake out the litter. While it has a velcro edge that would allow you to open the mat to clean the inside (and perhaps in theory, put a pee pad in there if kitty misses the box), if your kitty is prone to peeing outside the box, then you may need a standard rubber mat, as this could get stinky if the mat is getting wet consistently (I know this, because I had this issue with a similar mat design). However, this mat is working well for my current kitty!The box itself is quite large, so it should work for cats of all sizes. The front entrance a nice height, so kitties of all ages should be able to get in/out (even older cats with less mobility). It also comes with a scooper, but I find the holes in it to be really large, so while good for scooping large litter clumps, some of the smaller stuff is missed. Therefore, while the scoop is nicely made (metal and wood design) and attaches to the side of the box, I tend to use one I already have that is better at getting the smaller stuff.Overall, I could not be more pleased with this! While this is arguably a little pricy for a litter box, it is worth every penny. If for some reason I ever have to replace this, I will absolutely buy this again, and if I had multiple cats, I would buy multiple of these. I can’t recommend this enough if you are tired of dealing with potty messes. My only regret is that I didn’t find this sooner (especially a few years ago when I had senior kitties dealing with potty struggles).

I love how this litter box doesn’t harbor the smell like plastic ones do. I can definitely tell a difference in how much longer I can go without changing the litter. It’s also very spacious and durable. Great for multiple cats.

Get it! It’s so worth it! With the cheap plastic litter box I would have to come home and clean around the box multiple times a day. With this it’s so easy to clean! I have a kitty about 2 months old and he has no problems getting in and out. The sides make it to where he cant fling litter everywhere. The only issues I’ve had is with the scooper not picking up as much as I would like but this also could be the type of litter I’m using.I definitely recommend this!
