When you clean the box its clean! No lingering smells!
This catbox is purrfect! It’s both top and bottom stainless steel unlike other stainless steel catboxes where only the bottom is stainless and when the cats pee it still gets ingrained into the plastic tops and the smell doesn’t go away with cleaning. With both the bottom and top with cleaning there are no lingering smells.

Best purchase I have made in a long time! The stainless steel makes it so easy to clean. The extra opening in the top makes it super fast to scoop it daily. Since I have been scooping daily, there is no odor. I spray the sides with vinegar if I notice my Lily has accidentally sprayed it. 🙃 It wipes off easily. Since the top and bottom meet with clamps, there’s no leaking on the outside. That’s the best part! It was an investment, but so worth the money!

I have many things I love about these litter boxes – they are large and spacious, easy to clean and came with many extras that help with quality of life – a stainless steel litter scooper with a sticky back hook for it, rubber feet to put on the bottom of the unit as well as a door and a litter catching tray. The top entry is also fantastic and my cat loves it.My only two complaints about the unit are the litter catching tray (not a single cat I have witnessed wants to walk on that thing and I think its because of how flimsy and unsupportive it feels) and the gaps in between the lid piece and the bottom piece of the litter box – if your cat pees on the sides of the wall it will get through that gap at some point. These litter boxes are soooo worth the money with these are the only things I wish I could fix.
