Customers say

Customers find this dog toy keeps their pets entertained for hours and serves as an excellent treat dispenser that works well with treats. Moreover, the toy is durable, with one customer noting it can hold up to 3 cups, and they consider it worth the money. However, regarding size, while it’s good for medium dogs, some find it too big for their pets. Additionally, opinions on chew resistance are mixed, with some saying it’s great for strong chewers while others note it’s not completely chew-proof.

    Dog Tested, Human Approved
My dog thinks the Starmark Bob-A-Lot is the best thing since peanut butter. Honestly, I think she likes it more than me. She’ll happily bat this thing around the house like it owes her money, and it keeps her entertained (and out of my shoes) for a long time. The best part? You can put just about any treat inside—kibble, little biscuits, training snacks—and the adjustable openings let you decide how hard your pup has to work. It’s like a doggy version of ā€œSurvivor,ā€ but with snacks at the end instead of tribal council.Durability? Top notch. My pup is basically a furry wrecking ball, and this toy has lived to tell the tale. Bonus points for making me laugh every time I watch her strategize like she’s solving a doggy Rubik’s Cube.If your dog gets bored easily, eats too fast, or just needs a fun challenge, this toy is a lifesaver. Seriously—buy it before your dog starts judging your lack of creativity.

Loved by both my pup and I! I can’t say enough good things!!
My lab puppy absolutely loves this! And so do I. My 5 month old lab puppy loves to play with us and is not so good at playing by himself. Though he is getting a little better. I use this when we need to keep him occupied or when we need a little break. I bought this for him when we first got him at about 2 months old; even then he had no problems figuring it out. Depending on how much food I put in it, this will keep him busy for quite awhile. My puppy does not usually have much of an attention span, he is always jumping from one toy, bone, or chew to another. But with this I know I can consistently depend on him being entertained for at least 15 to 30 minutes, again, depending on how much food I put in there.”Bob” as we call him, is very well made. I purchased the large one and it holds about 2 cups of food. The yellow top screws off so that you can pour the food in, there is an adjustable opening so if you want to make it harder for your dog you can adjust it and he will have to work harder to get the food out. It screws on quite tight and has never come off while my dog is playing with it even when he carries it around by the top. There is another opening towards the bottom where the food comes out that is also adjustable depending on how easy you want it to be or how big the food is that you are using. Both openings are pretty large and I have never had an issue with putting things in there. I know some people use it to put their dog’s food in, as my dog is self fed I have never done that. But I do use Cheerios and all kinds of other cereals and treats but mainly I use other “special” dog foods. I buy moist and dry dog foods that look like they may taste good and use them as treats. My dog thinks he is getting treats and never knows the difference, he loves them. It’s healthier than feeding him lots of treats and also a lot cheaper. Using the “Bob” not only keeps him independently entertained but also helps to tire him out. It can be a bit loud as I have tile floors but it is not that bad.It is constructed extremely well. My pup plays very rough with it, he bats it around into walls, furniture etc., drops it down steps, it has taken a beating but it has stood up to my dog’s abuse, where many of his other toys have not made it. It is very easy to clean.I plan on purchasing another one for my sister-in-law’s pig. She is 70 pounds over weight and hates to move around but obviously loves food. I think that putting her food inside will be just the motivation she needs. And it is so well made that I don’t have to worry about giving it to her!

    Good toy for boredom prevention.
My mining and dog love this toy. I fill it with Cheerios and they stay busy for a good 30 minutes. Long enough for me to finish my morning coffee, haha! It doesn’t make any noises. Very durable. It’s pretty hard and not soft so not a chocking hazard. They don’t chew on it because there are really any hanging parts. Inexpensive for my pets enjoyment. Bright colors.

    Great treat dispensing toy
My wife works from home and our two large dogs occasionally get bored and want her attention. This sometimes occurs during conference calls or new client meetings, not ideal!! So I picked up a couple interactive dog toys and this was by far the best. You fill the top with kibble or treats, there are two adjustable openings for various sized treats, and they knock it around and eat the treats!! The plastic is thick and durable. The dogs love trying to get the kibble out and keeps them entertained. My biggest complaint is the internal adjustment will sometimes slide open or closed while the dogs are playing. If it closes, it cuts off their supply! Additionally, I couldn’t find the larger size so I think this is a medium?? I was concerned about the size because my dogs are big… Italian mastiff mix and Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix. This one is fine and is holding up great so long as I don’t allow them to use it as a chew toy.

This is a great product. I have used almost every kind of dispenser type to you there and this is one of the best I’ve ever come across. The product is well made, has a certain heft to it so it won’t simply roll underneath the couch. It bobs around which is fun for my dog, and the dispensing hole is adjustable so I can extend play time by making it more difficult for the food to come out.A lot of people have complained about the noise, so I was a bit concerned about it. I live in an apartment with vinyl wood flooring. So far I have not witnessed any problems. It makes a bit of a shaker noise when it’s moving around but nothing I can’t tolerate and I wouldn’t call it a nuisance. I think you’d have to have some pretty shotty walls and floors for this to bother the neighbours. I don’t think it’s any louder than a bouncing ball to be honest. As for the setup, it is really fool proof. You twist open the yellow lid, put the kibbles or treats in there, shake around till they’ve all fallen into the green cavity, close the opening and screw the lid back on. Next you adjust the small opening on the exterior of the green cavity. Voila it’s done.To show my my puppy how to play it, I took his paw and give the toy a little shove. Some kibbles fell out immediately. I had set it to the easiest level so dispensing was guaranteed. He caught on right away and started pushing the thing around. At first when the toy bobbed around it startled my puppy somewhat. It was very cute watching him bark at the thing. He was a bit too gentle with it at first but boy did the food motivate him to get rougher with it. As mentioned there is some heft to the thing so it doesn’t get shoved around that easily.Once in a while my dog will push the toy all the way to the corner underneath the stairs, wedging in an impossible spot. I would then have to intervene and pull it out. Size wise this works for my cocker spaniel puppy. The cavity looks spacious so I imagine it will remain useful for the foreseeable future.I’m very happy with this product. I paid full price for it and it has incredible value. It’s cheaper than a lot of toys out there but the quality is top notch. It’s very easy to clean and I expect it to last a long time. The adjustable slot makes it fun always for the dog. I use it now to feed my dog dinner and he gets very excited by the sight of it. I would definitely recommend this product if you are shopping around something interactive for a food-driven dog.

Ottimo acquisto, il mio cane si esalta e si stanca, ne consegue un prolungato riposino!!Non indicato per chi vive in appartamento dal secondo piano a salire…il rumore per i vicini di casa non sarebbe accettato!Per me ottimo acquisto!!
