I purchased these as a substitute for salmon Vitakraft Purrsticks, which weren’t available.These have a decent ingredient list and claim to have health benefits. All I know is Baby, my rescue kitty, enjoys them. They’re like Purrsticks – segmented, so you can break or cut them into bite size pieces.Some reviews commented on the difficulty in tearing pouches apart. I just use scissors and cut away one when I need it. As long as the ingredients are largely animal protein, I’m pleased.

They’re kind of fun and my cats love them.
My cats love these treat sticks. I tried giving one of them a whole stick and he actually had a lot of fun biting pieces off but some of it ended up under my couch so I decided it was more prudent to break them up into smaller bite sized bits, which they gobble up. I love the idea of having each day’s stick perform a different function. I can’t actually comment on how well they work, because, how could I tell? But the idea is a good one. And the cats like all of them so none of them have a flavor that’s objectionable. It’s also kind of fun to find each days stick and read aloud its purpose to the cats While I’m getting it out. These are very nice treats and I’ll definitely be getting more.

Good concept but not all of my cats liked.
I ordered these cat treats by Pet Being because I’m always worried that my cats aren’t getting all of the vitamins in their food (even though the kibble companies say they are nutritionally complete). I like the concept of a stick a day and that each stick/day has a different benefit -whether it’s hairball, dental, kidneys, joints, heart, immune, or coat these treats cover it all. The treats are a segmented stick similar to a beef jerky stick for people. Each package of four is good for a week. My only complaint, and why I took off a star, is because one of my cats who is not fussy did not like these. Fortunately, I have a multi-cat household so will be able to find someone that likes them and can use the extra supplements. The price of about $16 will last the average cat about a month. If you have a small cat then you may be able to stretch these out to two months. This product is made in Europe and I also would have liked a specific country listed.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-As described. May have a minor problem. Good to great value.Four stars-As described but may have a more noticeable flaw or problem. Or, not as good as value.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.
