Harness is too small.
According to the measurements the small harness should of been the right size for my small ferret. So I bought it. It was too small. Bought the medium thinking that would fit, but again too small! I loved the harness though, it is so cute! I don’t think they make this in a large! At least i haven’t found it in a large yet.

These are not made for practicality
The sizing is completely wrong on this item. the 4-5.5 inches that the “small” size should fit is actually about half the size. Our rats have a chest circumference of about 3-4 inches and the small would suffocate them, so the sizing is completely off. Additionally, the product is not made of sturdy material. It’s a cute little felt vest that might work taking a couple of photos, but won’t work to provide much function. We’ll be returning this.

Not worth it
The leash was a perfect length and color.. but the actual harness was way to big for my hamster and I have a Syrian Hamster wich is the biggest one. The main issue was that the harness is velcro and my hamster looked really uncomfrotable she couldn’t move!

Size
The sizing shows a guinea pig in one and a rat. So I got a small for my rat. Too small. If you have a rat get the large. There’s no stretch and no way a large will fit a guinea pig unless it’s way larger than the small. Only 2 sizes and not a lot of way to adjust it it’s just a Velcro strip so if it’s too big it falls off, too small no fit. These are small animals that can’t you can’t be letting loose so fit is important. I ll have to buy something with adjustable straps or stretch, etc.

It is really cool design, with a long leash I would suggest buying as long as you’re wrapped or animal is not too smart, because mine broke out of it

The idea of walking a hampster is fun. But in practice it does not work. Don’t buy it. It won’t stay on em they squirm out. Even when you tighten it as much as possible they are a berito sausage till they get free.
