Customers say

Customers find the dog training device effective, particularly for barking and pulling behaviors, and appreciate its ability to get dogs’ attention without hurting them. The sound quality receives mixed feedback – while some say it’s not too loud, others note it sounds like a taser and barely carries outside. Similarly, opinions on value are divided, with some considering it worth the money while others find it overpriced.

My 9-week-old Puppy Stopped Her Incessant Barking on Day One!
This is a game-changer! My 9-week-old Pomeranian would not respond to positive reinforcement when it came to her whining/attention barking. After playtime and cuddles, I’d put her back in her playpen and the loud barking and whining would commence. I tried saying “Quiet” and rewarding her with treats when she obeyed, but it was short-lived. This little gadget came a day early and I was more than excited –– and skeptical. To test it out, I cuddled her for a bit and then put her back in her playpen. After I walked away she started to bark and whine. I said, “Quiet” and she continued. I quickly pressed this device and said “Quiet” again. Her ears perked up and she got as silent as a mouse. I said, “Good girl!” and a couple of minutes later cuddled with her again. I put her back in her playpen and not a peep! This was the first use of the device and it was a success. She normally is a loud and incessant barker. She barely whimpered.Ten minutes later I was playing with her sister and she wanted attention so she barked once (a HUGE improvement) and I said “Quiet.” She barked lightly and I pressed the device and said “Quiet.” Not a peep!Later, I picked her up again and cuddled a bit, then put her back in her playpen. Not a peep! Complete silence (whereas before she’d wine and bark loudly for at least a minute). If your dog does not respond to positive reinforcement I definitely recommend this device. Use short bursts, not lengthy ones … as a quick click is all that was needed for my pup. The goal is to get her to respond to your voice and use the device less.NOTE: This worked on one pup. My other one, (same age/litter) doesn’t seem to respond as well to it. I will see if she improves. But for the first one, the major attention/whining barker, this is a game-changer.UPDATE: Day 2 and no more whining/attention-seeking barking fits from the main little one. She barked a quick “Woof” (I guess she forgot) that night I got this, but quickly caught herself. My second Pom is taking longer to catch on. I have to use it more often. I press it as she is barking, then tell her “Quiet.” She simmers down and whimpers more instead. Hopefully, this will work with her too. However, I am now pleasantly sleeping through the night. Finally waking up feeling rested after a long and uninterrupted sleep! Forget those stupid YouTube videos that take weeks to train a dog not to attention bark and whine — so useless. I am so glad I found this device! Definitely worth every penny and my sanity.UPDATE: So, this works amazing for one dog and not so well for the other (same age/same litter). The first dog is virtually silent re: Aggressive/Whining Barking. The second starts her bark fest each morning as soon as she hears my feet hit the floor. I have to push this a number of times while she barking for her to settle into a quiet whine. So I am going to order an Ultrasonic Bark device for her. She eventually settles but it takes way too long, and too many alerts.NOTE: I purchased the Ultrasonic Bark device (which humans can’t hear) and my 2nd pup finally shut her mouth! I really like this device, but prefer something silent for traveling and when the pups are out with me running errands. I can use the silent device in more situations, instead of just at home (with this device because it’s loud). The fact that we can hear this device is the only con. Otherwise, it works great. However, the discomfort associated with the Ultrasonic barking device is more motivation for some dogs who ignore commands.

Works great, but is used more than I would like
I have a 7 month old Cocker Spaniel. Our cocker has been with us for only 3 weeks so he was an older puppy when we got him. He didn’t like his crate, to say the least. He literally would throw the biggest fit for hours on end at night. He would scratch, bark, howl, whine and thrash all night. Nobody in our house was able it sleep, it was awful.I had implemented some positive reinforcement that you normally would for a puppy to get them acclimated to their crate, but it just wasnt working and we needed a solution, and quick.I had paid for a dog trainer to come out and address the issue. She was informative and helpful the problem remained. Then I found the Doggie Don’t device.I have used it for just under a week now, and it seems to be doing a very good job. When I put him in the crate, the second he begins to make noise I press the button and say, “quiet”. Some nights, I have to use it more times than others, but eventually he settles down and gets the message. I do wish it would be a “one and done” response time, but he’s still a puppy and he’s still learning the ways of the world. This device thus far has saved me from spending a fortune to have this corrected, or worse, saved me from giving up my pup. I would highly recommend trying this (he also wears a pheromone collar, has calming treats, and a thundershirt) and this is by far the best solution I have come across.

If I could give this more stars I would
I have a toy poodle who is sweet as a button until she’s not. She can go from 0 to 60 in aggression with the other toy poodles in the house. She is also aggressive towards people when she thinks they are getting too close to her favorite human. And she has sleep aggression where she wakes from a sound sleep and attacks the first dog she sees. For her safety and the safety of the other dogs in the home, and our own sanity it needed to stop. I wanted something that would startle her and make her immediately stop without touching her or hurting her. I knew I didn’t want a shock collar, or a collar that blew air in her face. I also didn’t want an ultrasonic light flashing device. I wanted something that buzzed and was loud and would hopefully interrupt her immediate thoughts and make her think about the noise instead. I had just about given up when I found this Doggie Don’t Device. It was exactly what I was looking for and it worked even better than I could have imagined it would. I thought it would take a lot of time to break her of this aggressive behavior. It did not. The first time I used it scared the beejeepers out of her. It didn’t take long to have to use it a second time. Same reaction, except this time something changed in her demeanor. She became very fearful of the device itself. Not me, just the device. I now had a very powerful deterrent. All I had to do is show it to her and say HUSH. It made her stop everything and come running to me for reassurance. A week or so went by and I had to use it again. And I think one more time a few weeks after that. All I have to do now is say HUSH and it’s immediately over. I am more than satisfied with the product and we have a friendly household again.

I’m SHOCKED at how good this works
I don’t write many reviews. I never make videos for the few reviews I make. But omg. This thing might be the best invention of all time. Our Yorkie barks at dogs constantly and nothing was working. Then I bought this. I’m SHOCKED at how simple and effective it is. It makes a sound that is startling a little, kinda sounds like a bug zapper. Doesn’t hurt her, our other dogs, or is… But BOY DOES IT WORK!Watch the video and see. I’m in complete shock over here. Best purchase of all time.

I had to write a review about this device, because I am truly amazed at how quickly and effectively it has worked for correcting our two large dog’s (Shepherd & Pyrenees mixes) irritating barking, both inside and outside of the house. We’ve tried several different training methods to try and stop the barking, but nothing worked long term. We’ve had the DDD for about 3-4 weeks now and it has worked from the very first time we used it, though we honestly don’t need to use it often at all anymore, as they now will control themselves and not even begin barking (only some light grumbling) or will listen the very first time they’re told “no barking”. This is such an incredible change! Our Shepherd would quite literally bark at every person and/or dog that walked by. And as we live on a road that’s very busy with foot traffic/dog walking, as well as have a pretty busy alley behind our house, the barking was constant, very loud and irritating, as our Pyrenees would often chime in, and very difficult to stop. Now we have peace and quiet back in our home and yard, and it’s wonderful!! I had my doubts the DDD would work, as we’ve shaken marbles in a container before, which was only a temporary fix, but it’s very clear that this device is a really effective one for our dogs and I couldn’t be happier that I found it.

My little miniature Pinscher was a shocker for barking at everything; the vacuum cleaner, the tv, the yard brush, birds! She barked when I took out the bin. She barked when I put my coat on. She even barked when I stood up. Worse, she barked late at night when I put her out in the garden for her final wee before bedtime. Nightmare! I had to do something. I really didn’t want to take the route of using punishment type devises; she’s not a bad dog, but I did want something that told her instantly to stop the kind of behaviour that ultimately distressed her as much as me. So I did some research. Doggy Don’t is expensive, no doubt about it, but my need was greater than the cost of a possible solution and I desperately needed a solution. After the devise arrived I read the instructions and gave it a go. INSTANT RESULTS!!!!! My little dog stopped barking the moment I simultaneously held up my palm, pressed the button and called “NO BARKING”. She chanced her arm a little later and I repeated the procedure with the same result.A week later she can look out of the window and not bark at the birds. She lets me empty the bin without going bonkers. When I put my coat on all remains calm. The neighbours are spared their rude awakening in the late evening. But best of all, my little dog is so much calmer and far less stressed (and so am I). If she starts to bark, I simply give her the command to stop and she does. But the command also works for other irritations like her habit of digging holes in my lawn – now a thing of the past – and I don’t need to use the DD devise anymore. I call that a great success and I don’t begrudge the cost.My Doggy Don’t now sits languishing in a drawer unused…but not unappreciated.

I was skeptical at first, $100AUD for a device. I’ve tried handheld ultrasonic devices before and also compressed air cans. The videos of the doggiedont sound really do not do it justice, in person it is LOUD! It’s 1000% worth the money 🙌🏼

My two dogs would not stop barking every time we went into a park for our daily walks. This was used once and they stopped immediately. What a fantastic product. I also use it on occasions if my larger dog takes a dislike to another dog to stop further aggression.
