Healthy, crunchy, yummy dog treat
My dog LOVES these. Good for her teeth, chewing, and her skin and coat. I love this size since she is a bigger pup. They last her about 10 mins though lol. Yes they have a smell but they’re fish! I like that this is a healthy treat for her.

Good but stinky
They smell so bad. But they’re so great for dogs. They’re hard enough to provide a decent amount of chew time for my dog and there’s so many pieces in the bag it’s a good value. The company does third party mercury testing so they’re safe, too.

Love them! A bit smelly, but not too bad
My dog absolutely loves these!The first one lasted 40 minutes, the last ones have been lasting 9 minutes…I researched The Honest Kitchen intensely and think they are among the absolute best dog food companies out there. Our puppy’s dominant meal are their Puppy clusters, so I felt really good about buying these Cod skins from a company that I already trust. I had originally wanted to buy salmon skin but learned that Cod skin is actually much better to digest than salmon skin, and can be fed more often.They don’t reek, but I still prefer feeding them outside. In confined spaces they do smell fishy and that lingered for a bit, it’s not extreme, but I could see how it might bother someone sensitive to odors. If you do feed them inside, I highly suggest to not do it on the carpet, yes, for the smell but also it looses small scales and they are hard to get out of textured carpets.

All My Dogs Have loved These!
I’ve been buying the wolf skins for years. My golden retriever who past a few months ago loved these. My new puppy, a Goldendoodle, also loves these. My grandpa a labradoodle just had one and loved them also. They are a little on the expensive side, so I only give 2-3 week to my puppy. I don’t notice a smell. I like there is only one ingredient in the product. Good product.

Great single ingredient chews
This was exactly what I was looking for to tide my dogs over until their beloved salmon skins arrived. Single ingredient, crispy, something that would help clean their teeth after breakfast that they enjoy chewing on. They are also not too stinky as I was afraid they might be. Only problem was there were only 5 chews in the bag! I had to cut them in half to make 10 smaller squares. I would have hoped there’d already be 10 or more in the bag. Other than that, the product is great!

100% quality whitefish
Our dogs have severe allergies and are on a strict whitefish diet. They love these. Easily can be broken in half and not to hard for their teeth to chew. Very hard to find 100% whitefish quality treats at reasonable price. No smell to them and they last us about two weeks breaking them in into pieces.

Sure, they have a strong smell
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Sure, they have a strong smell. They’re fish skins. Have you ever seen a scent-free fish? Right. That is part of why my dog LOVES these. She loves fish, like more than cats do. She loves the crunch of these! I don’t find the smell that strong, or even objectionable. I’ve bought others, and some were nasty. The rolled up ones seem to be made from lower quality skins. They are very thin and just don’t look right. These, though, even look good. They are flat strips, and are thicker. I love this brand. The Wolf fish ones are good, too. My girl just seems to like these cod skins more.

These Beams Ocean Chews are an excellent option for dogs who need low-fat treats!Since they’re made from cod skin, they’re much lower in fat and calories compared to most other chews—making them perfect for pups with dietary restrictions. For my 15-lb dog, I like to cut each strip into three smaller pieces so they last longer and stay more manageable.Of course always supervise your dog while they’re chewing, as with any treat, to prevent choking.

I don’t know how many days my dachshund could “survive” without her “fishies” – they’re her absolute favourite treats. I cut these in half as a whole one is way too much for her so I essentially get double out of each bag. She has only half her teeth and does very well with these – and I credit these chews for keeping her remaining teeth very clean. Also, she’s basically a pescatarian as she is allergic to chicken and sensitive to pork and beef, so when I found these chews years ago it was a real win. As I am not a fish person myself, it does stink up the room for a few minutes when she really gets into it (after carrying it around like a precious treasure for days), and the scales flake off and make a mess but the smell is quickly gone and neither the scales nor any part of the product leave a mark or mess beyond needing a very light vacuum.
