My pup dances for this food!
I’m writing this review for my Chihuahua Sugar Biscuit, who suffers from food sensitivities leading to vomiting, blood in her stool, etc. I have gone through many trials of foods claiming to be gentle & nutritious & most failed the test. I found a soft human grade food that works great, but I also wanted a dry food for variety & texture. Most of the freeze dried human grade foods cost a fortune, they work, but they give you so little it’s laughable. This brand works just as good as they do, the amount in the bag is good, & it costs about half the price. If your pup has a problem tolerating food this is a great brand to try; it’s great even if they don’t have a problem.. My pup loves it & comes running every time she hears the bag being opened. She no longer has any signs of food intolerance & is healthy & thriving. If I was good at making videos I would send a post with my pup doing her special dance for this food, it’s the only food she dances for. It comes in chicken, beef & turkey, I wish they would make a bag mixing all 3, just for varieties sake. You can buy this product trusting that the ingredients are wholesome & great for your pup.

I use honest kitchen food and decided to try this for it’s convenient feature .The dog likes it but delivery of even one small bag has proven to us we can’t get a usable product always. This 2nd bag was mailed in a bag not box it was totally crushed and shoved in mailbox. With the quality of the food being good this product should be honored with the proper shipping. It needs protection and placed in a packed nicely box and handled with care .This is not kibble hard throw about food ,it’s light airy and fragile and perfect for low chewers and dogs who suck down Food like a vacuum because it will break down easily for the dog. So buyer beware it’s sent cheaply and not handled with any care. Therefore we can’t buy this until things change in shipping. It’s unusable once it’s form is gone causing powder.

Here’s my honest review of beef recipe from the whole kitchen dry dog food. I have two terrier Chihuahua mix. Kind of picky. Both of them have cleaned their bowl and I did give this a week before I wrote the review. Absolutely love it and love the fact that it is limited ingredients. A little more pricey than the others but aren’t your babies worth it

This food made many improvements to his overall health and well being.
This human grade beef only kibble fixed my large Cane Corso dog’s allergies. No more scratching…vomiting. I mix it with a few tablespoons of Honest Kitchens other dehydrated product with oats. My dogs normally hard bristle hair became soft and shiny. Even his breeder asked me what had I done? I add toppers like sardines to change his meal up. Its more expensive than regular dog food but we dont have vet bills for his allergies to chicken and other fillers, dairy products and gluten.

Bad for allergies
Ive been feeding my boys this for about 3 weeks. I am honestly really disappointed because I felt relieved when I had found this dog food. My older girl was diagnosed with cancer in September and since then, i have done a lot of research on kibble and dog food ingredients. I worked as a vet tech for a few years prior to this and had been feeding all my dogs the vet approved prescription/ “high end” kibble. After her diagnosis i put her on a very specific cancer diet from Dr. Harvey’s dehydrated, mcdowells herbs, home cooked protein, and all the elixers and mushroom powders i could find. I have 2 younger boys who are healthy but wanted to ween them off kibble as well. Cooking home meals and buying high end organic meat for all 3 of them just proved to be unsustainable and overwhelming, i wanted to find a better solution. My middle child, ziggy is a pittie with chicken and grain allergies and my youngest, monty is a frenchie mutt with no allergies (that i knew of). Ziggy was eating purina brand sensitive skin and stomach. Even though his skin and coat and overall health seemed very good, I really wanted to find more holistic/natural/balanced food for them. I thought this was my solution, but ziggy’s allergies have gotten worse than I have ever seen. He is getting sores around his mouth and hives on his tummy. My first thought was that he might also be allergic to beef as a protein. (Which still might be true) However, monty who has never had allergies has become increasingly itchy and i noticed cracked and yeasty sores around his mouth as well! I’m going to get an allergy panel done but I do have to say that I most likely won’t continue to buy this food. Based off how they both reacted, i am concerned. It was a very gradual ween from their old food and I also added anything new into their diets individually so I could take note of what caused any changes or problems. If I continue using honest kitchen I will most likely switch to the turkey or try the fish dehydrated and see how they react to that. But I’m skeptical off the whole industry now.

Our senior dog began having issues with his food. Loose stools and loss of appetite. Vet check was negative for any internal issues or parasites. After trying several brands I came acros this one. He loves it and his stools have been perfect.

My dog loves it. I have never fed my dogs kibble because it’s just junk but I feel assured that these human grade balanced food clusters are good for him including keeping his teeth clean. When I smell his breath right after he eats, it smells like pot roast. Also, I don’t have to feed him as much. It goes a long way.
