These are sturdy and well-made stainless steel with a nylon thumb screw with an internal metal thread. Works great for crates use for transporting animals and other things as well.

Sturdy but doesn’t fit holes
The bolts are larger than holes of my kennel and appear to be sturdier than the thinner bolts included with the kennel. If I use these, it will require drilling out the holes to fit the diameter of the bolt. I am concerned about the end of the exposed bolt becoming an easy way to scrape an arm or leg in passing so I doubt that these will be appropriate for shipping my pet across country. I ordered these due to the quicker arrival time of my order but I plan to return them since the airline may require me to put the original bolts back on and drilling out the holes would make the originals a terrible fit.

NOT a universal fit
This is not a universal fit. It fits through the holes on the top half of the kennel (large pet mate pet porter), but not the bottom. I recommend measuring the holes in the kennel before buying.
