The Trak4 USB Rechargeable Tracker is built to be waterproof and durable. Its robust internal LIPO battery provides 12–18 months of operation per charge (when issuing reports daily) delivering many times the capacity of most competing trackers and 5 times that of smaller round trackers. With unlimited distance tracking via 4G LTE worldwide coverage, plus fallback to 2G networks, your Trak4 ensures reliable performance. It combines GPS tracking with Wi-Fi-based location technology, for precise tracking when GPS signals are unavailable inside buildings.
The Trak4 USB Rechargeable operates globally, utilizing LTE technology with seamless fallback to 2G networks for consistent connectivity. It supports multiple GNSS satellite systems, including GPS and GLONASS for the most accurate location data. When GPS is unavailable, Trak4 detects nearby Wi-Fi routers’ MAC IDs, leveraging Google’s Wi-Fi database for precise indoor tracking. Like all GPS trackers, Trak4 will not function well inside enclosed, fully metal structures (containers, etc) as cell signal will be blocked. A subscription is required, with plans starting at $6.99/month paid annually or $15.99/month for flexible monthly plans.
Designed for rugged, all-weather environments, the Trak4 Rechargeable is waterproof and built to last. Measuring 3.9 x 1.8 x 1.25 inches, it includes a high-capacity battery and all necessary accessories. Depending on usage and network conditions, the battery lasts 12–18 months per charge, making it ideal for extended tracking needs. Using the optional Trak4 Mag Kit which features industry-leading high-strength magnets, and it can be discreetly placed under a vehicle or on any steel surface.
The Trak4 USB Rechargeable comes with a lifetime warranty and is ready to use out of the box with setup in minutes. Instructions are included. It includes user-friendly smartphone apps compatible with Android, iOS, and web browsers, offering real-time alerts via email, SMS text message. Track speed, geofence crossings, movement, and low battery. Perfect for asset tracking, cargo monitoring, fleet management, pallets, vehicles, trailers, bikes, motorbikes, etc. When something does go wrong, it’s easy to reach our friendly support staff via phone or email — we can help troubleshoot and get you set back up quickly!
The Trak4 USB Rechargeable is designed for a variety of mounting options: screw mounts for permanent installation, double-sided tape for versatile surface adhesion, and built-in slots for use with zip ties, straps, or harnesses. Or use the optional Trak4 Mag Kit (with an industry-leading high-strength magnets) and it can be discreetly placed under a vehicle or on any steel surface. These options ensure flexible and secure placement for any tracking scenario.

    Great GPS tracker
Worked perfect for what I needed it to and and I actually bought two simply because it was two vehicles that the person I needed to track could use. Worked perfectly on both vehicles and that was during the winter with very cold nights and rainy days that lasted sometime for a week. The battery life was great and it lasted as long as i needed to use them without me having to ever remove and let charge and put them back on. One survived a train track inspection truck impact. Hit the car on the back passenger side and where it was mounted right in that area i don’t see how it survived. See the water tight box I had purchased with it the GPS locator would not fit in it. So i removed the magnets from the box and using some wrap around velcro combined with JB Weld Steel Reinforced Epoxy I managed to attach the magnets directly to the transmitter. Doing this i had to tape over the charge port and make sure that a plug could plug into the port before it cured. Now i’m sure this avoids the manufactures warranty but I really wasn’t worried about that. If that would have come up I would have just purchased another one and went from their. Sometimes time is more valuable than the cost of things and time wasn’t on my side so to worry about anything like that was comical to me. I’m about to put service back on one because i have to monitor something else that I need to always know where its at 24/7 if I when I need to know it.Remember installing GPS transmitters on any persons car that’s not titled in your name is against federal law. Remove anything that’s located on the tracker like stickers or barcodes and keep them in a safe secure place always. So keep that in mind if that’s what your thinking about and if you decide it’s worth the risk then make sure you keep your mouth shut and install it in a place that’s not noticeable even if someone takes it to a mechanic for a break job where it’s raised up and could easily be spotted from underground the car. These are lesson learned the hard way.I say that because one of the vehicles had to have a break job and to find the device still would have been hard. I’ll say a little more and then that’s it.What ever and who ever your going to track write down the tag number and put that in your wallet simply because if you think it’s only one silver toyota Camry in your town, well it may be only one in a small town but in the city and say Walmarts parking lot it will be so many that guessing only ends up making you do even more undercover shady crap because you will have to remove it from someone’s car that you have no clue who it belongs to.Retrieving one like this always be prepared for guard dogs and take along something that most dogs love. Like bologna, ham lunch meat and if it’s a very large dog t-bone steak filet mignon will always work great for these breads.More things to remember : put the clear stickers over the charging port simply to keep the port from getting water damaged because it’s not made out of plastic or food grade stainless steel. I preferred to used 3m Super 33+ electrical tape because it’s black and once it’s attached to something like this it has good waterproof ability and if I ever need more it comes on a roll that around 60 inches long. Still the manufacturers port protection stickers i’m sure work and if I didn’t have any of the 3m I would have used those instead.Good battery life and you can’t ask for more, support was always good to answer any questions that I had. works in extreme conditions 15 degrees to 105 it never stops from doing its job. holds up to impacts from train track inspection trucks, signal strength is always good even after a impact like that, the price for the service isn’t that bad at all. The top of the line fastest update time was 22.00 and some change a month. Can’t ask for any better tracker than what you get with the TRAK-4 GPS Tracker5***** and an A+++ it gets from me.Thanks Kenny

This is a fantastic little tracker. I used it inside of a piece of equipment and it works like a charm. I called because I had some questions and they answered them right away on the phone. Very helpful staff and an all around killer product!

Good Tracking, Good Accuracy, Decent Battery Life
We live fairly remotely in northern mass, so we were concerned this wouldn’t get coverage, but it works well. On a road trip to central NH it managed to keep good details on its location. One thing that I don’t think the seller articulates clearly is that the hourly reports while its moving are more then just the tracker current position, it actually reports multiple positions since its last report in. You don’t get a perfect trail of where it’s been, but much better then I expected.Currently it reports the device is located about 50 feet away from its actual location, on the opposite side of the street, so accuracy is good, not great. For those highly targeted items like trailers this seems like a must have. It is electrically quite so won’t be picked up easily by a scanner especially when it is in deep sleep mode for the 24 hour intervals. It hides fairly well and holds a charge for a decent amount of time.My only complaint is if we want to add another device we have to buy a second plan, I wish there was a way to by a plan for multiple devices at a lowered price.

    Trucker tested and trucker UNAPPROVED
Ordered this to track my trailer for when I drop it at meat packers for loading. They have a bad habit of not notifying drivers that trailer has been loaded. I stuck an apple tag on trailer but the update frequency wasn’t good enough along with other things so I figured I would try this tracker. It was cheap and yearly subscription was decently priced. Lots of good reviews so I figured why not. Got my tracker delivered and put it on a charger while I signed up on the website. Let it charge for a while and didn’t show up on the website. Contacted support and was told it sometimes takes a DAY for it to show up. I should have asked for a refund at this point but continued testing out. After waiting a day I was told this brand new device was not compatible with new update. Support sent me another in the mail and it arrived a week later. It was tied together with a rubber band and put in a USPS shipping bag. I didn’t really care it looked used because it was going to be hidden on trailer. After more back and forth with support I was able to get new device added to account. I paid for tracking every 10 minutes but that’s not happening. If tracker doesn’t move it will automatically go to tracking once a day. So once I stop somewhere for 30 minutes or so it switches to some kind of hibernation mode. Was told something about it was to save battery life. Being hardwired to a big car battery I don’t see why this would be an issue. Got this unit because I could hardwire it and wouldn’t need to worry about recharge it. Left my house 2 days ago to pick up a load and it pinged a few times hours after I moved. It stopped reporting where I picked up and started reporting a few time yesterday. Did the same today but stopped reporting after I was moving. Looks like it stopped a few hours ago at the stop light where I was getting back on the road. I’ve traveled almost a thousand miles in the last 2 days and it’s disappointing on how it tracks. I believe it skipped tracking me for a few states. With getting a replacement and me not being home right away to test out, I’ve gone past the point of being able to ask for a refund. Happens a lot as truck driver.Support is quick to reply but have a feel of canned messages. If you don’t really care about tracking frequency this might be for you. Even with their premium planes you will only get a ping daily if it moves. Actual tracking according to the plans have been spotty at best. Only good for when it might be stolen I guess. Will be able find if it stays in 1 location for a few days from what I’ve seen these last couple of months of using it.
