USE THIS FOAM EVERY NIGHT!
This is not an alternative to brushing your dogs teeth!!!!. However, it is a good daily routine to start. I try to brush my dogs teeth once a week, but I put this foam in their mouth EVERY NIGHT. It’s equivalent to humans mouthwash. It kills bacteria which in turn reduces plaque and fights infection and also helps with bad breath. It’s nowhere near as strong as humans mouthwash, I doubt it has any alcohol in it at all. It does smell minty and it doesn’t really seem to bother them it’s more the action of forcing something in their mouth that they don’t like. But my dogs let me do it no problem and in two seconds it’s over. Don’t be turned off if your dog doesn’t like it. Oral hygiene is way more important than your dogs comfort for three seconds! Dental problems can reduce up to five years off your dogs life, it serious! And you should take it very seriously. If you’re not brushing your dogs teeth at least once a week, you really need to do START NOW!! It’s super important!!! I wish somebody would’ve told me that for the first five years of my dogs life! You should also, buy the water additive that kills bacteria also. So if you brush your dogs teeth once a week, their water bowl is belong kills bacteria and you use the foam every night then you will be off to a great start! Then maybe you can work your way up to brushing your dogs teeth 3-4 times a week, which is how often they r actually supposed to be brushed! Keep in mind that to get your dogs teeth cleaned professionally is $500. So whatever you can do to keep their teeth healthy pushes that dental cleaning further and further away!

Strong and pretty effective!
This really freshens my small poodle’s breath for several hours at least. The foam is not thick enough so if you don’t hurry to put it on it will dissolve on your finger.I don’t apply it directly to the mouth but first on my finger. I had another dental foam from Arm and Hammer and it had a much better consistency so this is something that should be improved upon I think. Other than that its useful on top of a good toothpaste or gel for a dog and my dog does not mind the smell or taste of it. I think it smells a bit like alcohol though or at least very strong and not just mint? So maybe some dogs might not like it but it works for us. I am glad I found it because right now this is the strongest breath freshener product for dogs I have and is quite reliable in its performance. And my dog has not had an adverse reaction yet (he has a sensitive stomach) and looks at me as if he is impressed too. I use it maybe once or twice a week as needed and only a small amount. I use it in conjunction with other dental products for dogs and I do alternate a bit as they have different positive aspects. And of course I would test it first if your dog likes it and his stomach agrees with it. Mine does not like very strong baking soda toothpastes but he takes to the mint flavors after having to get used to it a few years back when we first started. The size of the product is generous and I am sure it will last a while as a little goes a long way.

Omggg I have been searching high and low for SOMETHING to help with my pups stinky breath! It was so bad I could smell him breathing while I worked from home! Luckily I have a family member who also has doggies of her own and I noticed their breath didn’t smell and she recommended this. I have never seen my dogs make such a look of disgust as after this. Gagging and running away became the norm whenever I put this into their mouth. And now a week later, their breath is worse… it now smells like fish. Would not recommend.
