Perfect for used with cold therapy after total knee replacements, and likely other similar needs.
Bought this for husband’s knee, since after total knee surgery he needed to used cold therapy on his knee, and you were supposed to be careful not to have the cold packs directly on skin. You also needed the covering not too thick, ideally, so the cold could do its job reducing swelling and inflammation. This was ideal because it allowed him to remove the cold pack when he wanted to get up to move from the chair, and not have to put it back on after when he resumed the cold treatment, because it stayed in place while he walked around. The roll came in more then sufficient amount that we were able to also cover a few gel cold-packs to fit under his knee, and put the whole thing directly into the freezer without removing. And we used them to cover larger gel packs that we froze for when we had to travel in a car, and couldn’t use his cold therapy machine in the car. The fit on the knee was great. It was worth the money, and worked well. Comfortable.
