Seriously, if you need one camera to handle basically everything—from checking on your fussy baby to making sure your dog isn’t eating the couch—this Pan/Tilt camera is an absolute winner. It’s incredibly versatile for the price. I’ve used a bunch of these, and this one feels less like a fixed security camera and more like a little remote friend you can talk to. I’d easily give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. It just offers so much value. First, Full Pan and Tilt Coverage is a Lifesaver: Forget those cameras that only stare at one spot. This thing is a total lifesaver because you can remotely spin it and tilt it right from your phone. You can literally scan the whole room, top to bottom, which means no more blind spots—it’s like having a little security droid. On the flip side, the App Needs Coffee: Look, the camera hardware is amazing, but the companion app (the one you use on your phone) is a little clunky. It gets the job done, but don’t expect it to be super slick. Sometimes finding an old clip or a setting takes a couple of annoying extra taps. Next, the Killer Two-Way Audio: The “Audio Calling” feature works flawlessly. The sound quality is so clear my dog actually jumps up when he hears my voice, and it’s perfect for yelling “No!” when he gets too close to the rug. It feels like a genuine walkie-talkie right through the camera, which is a big relief for checking on anyone. However, Night Vision is Fine, Not Fantastic: The night vision is definitely functional—you can see a clear black-and-white picture—but the range is slightly limited, and it gets a little grainy. For a typical bedroom or living room, you’re fine, but it won’t be movie-quality HD in pitch darkness. The camera does have Super Reliable Motion Detection: This thing is quick on the draw! The motion alerts hit your phone fast, and it instantly starts recording. It’s super sensitive, which is great for catching activity, but if you have a bouncing cat, make sure you dial down the sensitivity in the settings or you’ll get spammed all day. The main drawback here is You Pay for Cloud Backup: Standard local storage (SD card) is usually free, but if you absolutely need your footage backed up to the cloud, be prepared for a monthly fee. It’s pretty standard for these devices, but definitely something to budget for. Overall, it’s a True All-in-One Device: This is one of the few cameras that actually pulls off its promise to be everything: security cam, baby monitor, and pet watcher. The pan/tilt and two-way talk make it genuinely excel across the board. Bottom line: If you want a camera that does way more than just sit there and costs less than a fancy dinner, grab this one. The Pan/Tilt and two-way talk features alone are worth every penny for major peace of mind.

Added peace of mine to monitor loved ones
With elderly parents living alone, there is always a bit of worry. I got this to use at their home so that they can easily reach me and I them. I really like that calls from the app to the device can auto connect, just in case there is an emergency I could see what is happening. There are two buttons that are shortcuts to call any contacts – so they don’t have to fumble with the phone and remembering how to dial.The app was easy to install and setup. If you don’t want to subscribe to cloud services, you should get a micro SD card to store the videos and photos. The device picks up movement and immediately starts recording. What’s nice is that you can share access to the device with other family members as well. The camera can be set to follow people as they move.As I keep using it, I’ll update on features and any thing that doesn’t work well.Update (Aug 25, 2025)No change in stars. It would be better if the camera had a wider field of view so that there is more visibility without having to move the camera. Also, the motion sensor picks up when the wind blows the curtains, when I really only need the alert when a human is moving. There is no option in the app to specify what kind of motion to track so I turned the motion tracking off – it kept moving around all day and causing unnecessary alerts.It is difficult to answer the calls when the app alert rings – so I end up having to call back.
