Great Training Tool!
This healing/training stick has been a game changer for the over rambunctious Doberman I have been training. I have been able to slow her down on walks and keep her in step behind me. I have used it as an extension to my arm when she gets too rowdy and rough when playing. I also use it as a tool to keep a boundary around me when we are playing fetch and she runs too close to me when she gets the zoomies. The slight flex and rounded tip make the stick more gentle and safe. Our training is progressing much more quickly since using the training stick.

Good weight and handling
Although some may argue you can you a regular stick, I saw similarities to training sticks for horses and thought I’d give it a try. The handle had a nice grip, and the slip was rigid, but had some play, perfect for directing without hurting. A simple touch can get your animal’s attention. This was a useful tool.

Too expensive
My wife wanted this product to work with her dog. But it’s nothing more than a stick with a loop on it. I can accomplish the same thing with my dog by cutting a small sapling. These types of training aids do work, especially for dogs like mine who think they’re always supposed to be out front leading/pulling instead of staying at a nice loose leash heel. This device is made well and has a nice comfortable rubber handle. If you’re into having a pretty stick to train your dog and willing to pay $26 then this is for you. The quality of the product is worth more stars but I can’t get over how much it is so the value diminishes the star rating from a 4 to a 3.
