Best Litter
Started using this litter after my cat had to have surgery because of frequent urinary problems. In addition to the litter change, we changed his diet to a urinary special blend and he hasn’t had any issues for nearly 5 years. This litter doesn’t have the disgusting smell clay litter keeps and is really easy to clean out when it’s time for changes. My only complaint is that it is dusty when initially pouring it in and can be really messy if you have a cat that likes to dig and kick stuff around.

I am still not sure about this product
This product works ok. I definitely do not like the smell of it. It does seem to help if I sprinkle in some baking soda in the liter. I am just not sold on the whole crystals idea yet. I have 2 cats and this does not seem like I can go a month without changing it. With that being said, it can get more expensive. I do not think I will buy again.

Best crystal litter Ive tried
I have a multicat household,including one elderly kitty with early renal issues(LOTS of pee),and one with intermittent colitis. I hate clumping litter,as well as clay dust,so I have been trying various crystals. Of the varities in this brand,I like this one the best. It has just enough fresh fragrance for odor control but not too much to cause any respiratory issues in the cats. I scoop the poop daily and stir it,and 1 bag last 3 weeks in 1 box,compared to 10 days for one comparable brand and 2 weeks in another. I do like this brand’s variety of clumping,but not with a renal kitty..

Surprisingly Helpful.
I usually do the litter for my two cats once a week on the weekends, which I know is not the way TO do it, you’re supposed to do litter once a day, But I prefer to just do it once a week since my cats surprisingly continue to keep themselves very clean, and mostly don’t make a mess outside their litter box, and the box is large and can contain a lot of waste, and it never really gets out of control. I usually end up with about 3 to 4 grocery sized litter bags full of waste to throw out with just clay litter alone each week, usually full of condensed urine from the clay litter, which is heavy enough to warrant two trash bags for two litter bags at a time since they’re so dense, but this time after 1 week of use with a clay litter and silica gel litter combo, I only ended up with 1 bag of waste at the end of the week! So much easier to deal with, and it wasn’t even full! I didn’t even change my cat’s diet or serving size, The usual gross cat urine smell that would show up at about the weekend mark with only clay litter isn’t present anymore, the dust also is not nearly as bad compared to just pure clay litter, my cats seem to enjoy the silica gel litter more because it’s finer and doesn’t seem to stick to their paws as much as clay litter. The funny thing is I got the three pack of the silica gel cat litter, and I’ve only used 1 whole bag of the 3 bag pack thus far and had this awesome experience. Most of the used bag looks present after cleaning. Excellent value as the 3 bags cost as much as almost 4 clay litter containers, I think the 3 bags will last a month easily at this rate.

This is not a dust free litter at all. It is super dusty. Like clouds of dust every time the litter is slightly disturbed. I like the crystal litter so that is good but if you are looking for a dust free litter this one isnt it. It is so dusty i had to remove the lid of the box so my sphynx didn’t inhale so much dust. I really wanted this to be a great product. But the dust is prohibitive for us.
