Great little tracker!
Great little tracker! I’m very happy with this purchase. The device is compact, easy to set up, and the magnet is strong — it stays securely in place. I purchased the MyLoc8 Halo model. It is a nice size, like a quarter, but much thicker. I have a little pouch from a different tracker, it fits in there with some maneuvering, but i can use it with the magnetic tag clip on my child’s clothes, doesnt bother them at all. The battery lasts a school day, then I charge it at night.I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, and I am still learning how to use it.Setup was super easy. I went outside like it said, and it pinpointed my location within 10 feet! I was able to customize picture, notifications, name.The one complaint i have: the geofencing is too big. I need this to be much smaller than a 164² yards area. Much smaller. Like, a 40ft area. The smallest size accepted by this model comprises my whole neighborhood, the woods around us, the main road… I just need my house and yard to be within the fence. Hoping that they update and allow that to be modified.Customer service has been great, they worked with my issues, and are having me try a pet tracker, instead of the halo, to see if the fence is better that way. I haven’t tried the pet one yet, since I’m still learning the halo features.All in all, MyLoc8 Halo seems to do well, and almost the same features the other tracker I’ve had for a few years now (the one that disappeared suddenly, that was bought out and hasn’t come up with a new gen yet and has left all of us special needs parents in limbo, you know which one im talking about), which is exactly what I needed. It doesn’t have the SOS style of the other one, but I think it has some sort of SOS that I ust haven’t pressed yet.I am thankful this product is working this way, and I appreciate the customer service people.

I was looking for a reliable GPS tracker that was easy to set up and doesn’t always need to be charged. I was impressed with the quality and all of the different accessories it comes with. It’s a nice size making it easy to fit anywhere I need. The magnet is very strong, so once it’s attached, it’s not going anywhere.Setting it up was pretty straightforward. You have to take the back cover off and the battery out to scan the QR code so you can add it to the app. The real-time location updates are very accurate, and I haven’t experienced any delays or glitches. One of the best features is the geofencing. It lets you set a safe zone to get an alert if your tracker moves outside of the designated area. Keeps my mind at ease in case anything were to happen.The battery seems to last. I haven’t had to recharge it yet, which is a big improvement over other trackers I’ve tried in the past.This is a quality tracker that does just what it promises. It’s accurate, long-lasting, and dependable. If you’re looking for an easy way to track a vehicle or valuables without constantly checking on the device, this is an excellent choice.

Performs exactly as advertised
I am extremely happy with the myloc8.The device Does and performs exactly as advertised. I have been through 4or5 different devices that were useless. Has to get a sim card and service for each one. Myloc has it built in. Signing up for the service is quick and easy and can pay monthly with no contract . I lost my device a couple days ago. And guess what. They are replacing it for free. All covered under their warranty. Literally took 2 minutes on the phone. No hassle and no extra nonsense to get the job done . Highly recommend if your looking for low cost tracking. Has strong magnet and comes with a rubber cover for water resistance. Also comes with 2 other back plate options for mounting in case you don’t want to use the magnet. Magnet, pocket clip, flat. Are the 3 back plate options it comes with. Depending on how often you set the update interval for afeects the length of battery but I’ve been averaging 3-4 days before I need to recharge it. But I know it can go alot longer than that.

Over all I would buy again
First off it’s decent, it has options from 1 minute to 2hrs so if it’s let’s say a dog it can travel a good ways before it picks up again. 2nd the battery life isn’t great, charge for 8hrs and you basically get 3-days. But for the price I really don’t think a better option exists.
